Things non-UTAU users say that annoy you?

When I tried to explain UTAU to the kids I teach swimming, they asked me why I don't just sing it myself.

And when I asked my mom if she would allow me to download UTAU she answered 'no'.
Her reason: this is for little kids and there could be a virus within the program.
Sure Mom... that's why there are so many people working with UTAU...

Real Life: People during my high school->"Wow, everytime you draw this UTAU character they look different"

That was because everytime I drew an UTAU I labeled it as UTAU somewhere, and they thought it was their name XD

On Internet: People commenting on Youtube:

I am aware I am not the best at some things like tuning, but for god's sake I hate when some unknown random person come to tell me that I am shit when they dont even have knowledge on how the thing is done.

hmm...geee idk, probably because the other one was CV and the other is VCV. But I guess it isnt really their fault. But it was stated in the title *utau name* CV and *utau name* VCV (I forgot their names xD) so I cringed....

I mean, most "real" singers use Auto-Tune today so... plus Miku is admired and worshiped by many and Vocaloids HAVE THEIR OWN FREAKING CONCERTS THAT TAKE SO MUCH TALENT AND EFFORT TO MAKE-*spasms out*

(Also, I think part of the beauty of UTAU and Vocaloid work is just how many different skills it takes. Drawing, mixing, otoing, tuning, recording, sometimes animating and promoting. It can bring a lot of talented people to collaborate or just be an all-in-one creative practice for those who can handle all the tasks... ... I really do write too much. =w=)

Mom hides in the kitchen whenever I get something right on UTAU. When I try to share my experience and theories, she literally says "what did I do to deserve this". Weird looks. Even my cousins think it is "too otaku". They call my utau "coso". Not "cosa", it isn't even a thing to them, it's more inanimate than a thing. Sob.

A thing to add: my parents, specially my dad, don't like to listen about anything related to UTAU at all. If I mention word "UTAU", he ignores me immediately and change topic right away to something that isn't related like "what we gonna eat for dinner" or "could you google to nearest place to wash my car. This car is dirty" etc.

Talking about languages is also impossible with my father cuz when I for example once told him that "I find pronouncing Korean easy because Korean ㅜ is close to Finnish(Spanish) u and Korean ㅡ sounds just like Japanese u/う". He answered "For me, there's only one "u" and all sounds same: ㅜ/ㅡ/う/u are all /u/!! So simple - right? Why make it so complicated? Why can't you say just all same?? You're being too microscopic!!"

This is the reasons when he called today and asked what I have done last week I said "nothing" cuz I know that he doesn't care if I said that I learned to read Pinyin and recorded a full Chinese VB for days and I put so much effort on it.

The most I've ever heard people say is "why not just hire a real singer?"

At which point I say that is prohibitively expensive for beginning music producers and that artificial vocals can also be used an an effect for bizarre sounds.

They just reply with the same thing, "why not just get a real singer?", since they don't listen.
