Armor

Armor is a bilingual, monopitch UTAU. It can speak French and Japanese. The tone of this voicebank can be described as soft or mellow. Since the voice provider is French, the Japanese voicebank have a French accent.

The name Armor comes from the French language. Armor is a word used when talking about the sea around Britain. "Ar" means "close to" and "mor" translated as "the sea".
Therefore, the name Armor translate to "Close to the sea".

Armor is designed after a little sailor from Britain. His yellow raincoat and boots bring a touch of color into a mainly monochrome design otherwise. Under his raincoat, Armor is wearing a striped sweater.

Since Armor is a voicebank, the user is free to represent it as they wish. That means that Armor can be on whatever ends of the gender spectrum and the user is free to give it a personality.

How do you pronounce "Armor"? Is it like in English like アーマ (Aama) or is it "French"? :0

Yes it's a French word. If I don't make any mistakes it's pronounced like this : aʁ.mɔʁ . A bit like if you tried to say "Are more" but with french R.
I hope this helps !

Ok! I see... hmm, there's no [ʁ] sound in Japanese sadly, I think that JP "r" is the most close to it ^^; if I had to write "pronouncing guide" for Japanese for French "Armor", it would be アルモル (Arumoru).

I think that if would be great to add pronouncing guide (in IPA/X-Sampa and/or Katakana), so people knows better how to pronounce his name.

Btw, in voice wise and character wise he's super cute! I want to DL him later when I open my PC ;;3;;

I added the pronounciation in IPA and your transcription in Katakana in the "Name Guide" section. (I suck at phonetic so I hope I haven't made any mistakes ...)
Aaah thank you ! I'm happy that you like him :sing:

Rest of critique bc uf wont allow more than 1000 characters:

Aside from that his voicebank is very versatile! It can sound powerful with the right usage and tuning, while also keeping that gentle tone in it's core. Now the french accent variies but ends up making the voicebank very cute! I suggest using g-5 when using the bank, and generally to use the bank! It would be a crime to not to, since he offers versatility, beauty and adorableness all at once! Definitely a Voicebank one has to own!
