any utau by @Kiyoteru aka adlez27. currently lives in the philippines and before that lived a great long time in singapore. also, a good chunk of us live in the united states, so perhaps accept some american utau?
[doublepost=1500665866][/doublepost]Velveteen by Velvet. Voiced by someone who grew up in the Philippines iirc, but the vb was recorded in America.

How is a voicebank considered as "Asian" to you, though? Is it the ethnicity or the nationality that matters? How about if the voicer and owner are different people? For example, Theo is voiced by Kuro Cure whose ethnicity is Asian but nationality is American. Another example: an utau that I co-own (my nationality and ethnicity are both Asian) is voiced by Kuro Cure. As for a hypothetical example, what if an Asian voicer and manager went on vacation outside Asia and recorded a voicebank abroad - do you consider that voicebank as Asian or not?

Ok time for me to stop rambling and suggest utau that don't have complicated origins

Ok, I really wonder if you count half-Asian as "Asian" UTAU or not...

I'm half Japanese and half Finnish (Japanese mother and Finnish father) and I can speak both in good accent and pronouncing is perfect in both. Japanese people (in Internet and real life) have phrased my Japanese skills and pronouncing even tho I have life 5 years only in Japan and that was when I was 1-6 years old only.

I have learned Japanese from my mother (my mom speaks Japanese only to me and still does), Anime, Manga, Music and I did study Japanese in Japanese with other Japanese or half-Japanese children like me in Helsinki from first grade to 9th grade.

I'm not saying that my Japanese is absolutely flawless or 100% native level because it ISN'T. (I want to say here for every oversea people who are reading this and who are really trying own best in Japanese that you're super cool for wanting to learn such a hard language like Japanese. Also, I appreciate every oversea people who practices their best to rig off puffing K/T/P, pronouncing Japanese R and U as close to as possible to correct for their voicebanks because I KNOW that is NOT easy when it is not first or second language)

Japanese people and Nico Nico Douga see my and my UTAU as "oversea user/UTAU" but I really don't see as myself as one. I kinda hate to feel that I belong no where strictly in UTAU community TBRH half bloods problem

I do understand if you don't want to accept cases like me (or cases that @kimchi-tan mentioned) but... ^^; Good luck for finding UTAU, bye

If you we're born in Finland, that means you're an Eurasian, so i won't accept your voicebank.

any utau by @Kiyoteru aka adlez27.
About this suggestion, feel free to disregard. I don't have any currently released Japanese voicebanks that I'm satisfied with being used by most people.

I know this shouldn't be the place to talk politics or identity, but I'm a little hurt that you're trying to put yourself in a position to determine who is and isn't Asian. It's a big, complicated world. We here would like to get along with each other.

Thank you for saying this, I was thinking exactly same but couldn't put in words. I have extra strong sense/identity to be Japanese, I even think most of time in Japanese and all... I know, I'm technically eurasian, not Asian but...

I would say if you feel more asian, than you are More asian than european/eurasian. I dont think anyone should judge if you're asian or not.

For example, I'm half Chinese, half Spanish and most people see me as only Chinese for some reason. However, I'm an overseas user, so I guess I wouldn't count...? I didn't plan on entering my VB anyway, but it's kind of odd because ethnicity is completely different from nationality. Where we're from doesn't equal who we are. In a way, this almost feels biased, and I'm saying this as nicely as I think I can.
We suggested a lot of VBs in the chatbox, but I'll drop some of them again.

I'm just sayin. You do realize that about 99%, maybe slightly less, of this forum have NOT recorded their voicebanks in Asian countries, or what you deem Asian countries. So to place this thread here i highly doubt that you will get very many voicebanks seeing as this kiinda is an overseas Utau forum. Not to mention, most "high quality" Utau voicebanks there were made in Japan have password locks that are either super hard to find or down. Even the the amount you will get leave very little voicebanks at your disposal. My personal advice for this would be to find a Japanese forum and post this there cause some might give you the voicebank.

~Sorry if it seems harsh, but thems the brakes hun.

Well, there's plenty of Asian people here, from the many countries that cover this gigantic continent. We are an overseas forum in the sense that it's not Japan. (In fact, I often see people around from the region of Southeast Asia.) But what I don't understand is how OP expects to run a project that represents Asia, without actually being Asian, and while also trying to tell actual Asian people that they aren't.

I agree. This seems very weebish (or more asiabooish), and most of all, racist to be honest.

I don't want to seem rude, but could you please reply to my first post clarifying on what you consider as "Asian" because of ethnicity/nationality and voicer/manager complications? We could suggest a whole lot more voicebanks if you did!
