Group/Team Creating

I don't know if I should post this tread here or not... Well it's here now.

OK. Lets get to the point.

I'm am looking for people to be in a group/team with me.

I'm saying
"creators coming together" and not really
"UTAUs becoming one group"

I hope you could understand that, if not I'm sorry. It's kinda hard for me to explain. I don't even know how to ask such a question.

I honestly don't care how many people join. All I really want are friends. Everyone is welcome.

I'm sorry, please excuse my... naivety? I think that's the word.

Are you looking to collaborate on a single project, or become a long term team that works on multiple projects?
What kind of work would this entail? Writing original songs, like a doujin circle?

If you're primarily looking to make friends, then I can suggest many chat servers where you can meet people.

Yes!:creepy: I am looking for a long term team that can work on projects with me.
What is a "doujin circle"?

The work would consist of original sounds, UTAU creation, artwork, media marketing without actually selling items. and etc. that correspond with the work.

I am also looking for friends.
I would love to see/hear your suggestions.

Thank you for answering.

Here are several chats where you can meet people and make friends.

General
The UTOOTERS Black Supermarket - http://tubs.moe
Hanabii's Server
Cien World
VocaloidOtaku - https://discord.gg/qEXqD6J
Vocaloid - https://discord.gg/WrvwMnn (More of a fan group than a content creator group)

Niche
Vocalsynth Music Production - https://discord.gg/hjjbaQQ (If you're interested in making original songs)
St. Defoko's School of UTAU - https://discord.gg/rSzZD9P (For learning about UTAU)
Alter/Ego - https://discord.gg/hY3N5bF (For users of Plogue's Alter/Ego VST)
Hiyama Kiyoteru & Ice Mountain - https://discord.gg/FBcta2Y

It might be difficult to immediately start a long-term project group if you still haven't met people or proven your chops. Perhaps you should first focus on meeting lots of people, and then do one-off collaborations. Long term groups tend to form organically once you've made close friends in the community.

I dunno if I would recommend VocaloidOtaku. I left that place because of the toxicity, the constant "you're trash for liking XXXX, YYYY is so much better." / "why would you use XXXX for this cover"" etc. But if someone else gets something out of that forum, good! I made myself stay with it for far too long until I made great friends here at Utaforum.

Oh, the discord server is a lot more chill. I ran into one of my past enemies there, but we actually became cool again.

As long as the discord server isn't like the forum. That's really good though, that you became cool with a past enemy. Eventually, all my friends from there were like strangers.

Well you see I would like for people to kind of bring something of their own (taste to the table) if you get what I mean.

Honestly, I don't know. Whatever builds a group for creativity. I have never been in a group like this so I don't know what I need. Can you please give me some pointers and suggestions.

I hope that I kinda answered your question.

I like my options : like OdysseyYuki, I want to know want your specialty and where you work best.

I would like to form a group up by knowing the members experience and field they prefer to work in.

Newbies and Experts are both welcome.

What are you even going to do as a group? Why not come up with a single clearly designed project first, and then ask for the specific roles you actually need? For example, if writing an original song, maybe you'd need roles like musician/lyricist/tuner/artist/video maker.

(I don't know if this answered your questions.)

In this group project we are going to work on the character design.

I have the voice provider for the character set.

All I need are people to help with character development, artist, musicians- lyricist, and video makers...

:uhm:I am embarrassed to say this, I can't draw, make music, sing, make videos, and I have poor creativity.

Making a UTAU has to be one of the hardest things I have ever done. I honestly hate it. I want to throw out UTAU, but I can't make myself do it. Once my UTAU is finished I'm never touching the UTAU program again.

(Sorry for my "mini rant" UTAU is making me angry.)

:tongue:But my top priority are the artist.

Sorry, but if you don't like UTAU, why are you forcing yourself to do it...?
It's just a hobby. You should spend your free time on something you actually enjoy.

I deleted the program before, then later I downloaded it again. I don't know.

There is not much that I enjoy.
Life is hard. You understand, right?

It feels like a job, work that has to be done. I enjoy hearing the different voices, I really do. When listen to the songs it makes me feel... better? It makes me want to do that to. It inspires me to create. Sometimes.

I don't have much free time and when I do I'm usually looking at the UTAU program. I kinda feels like a challenge. A job I'm too afraid to do on my own. I know that when I finish this I will feel better. A weight being lifted off my shoulders, a job well done.

When I start something I need to finish it.

I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone in any kind of way... I just I'm sorry.

I don't know what to say...

There's nothing to be sorry about... I agree with Kiyo, if it feels more like a chore then don't do it. Utau should be a fun activity, if it's weighing you down then it stops being worth it. If you feel as though your skills can improve and that you can have more enthusiasm with the program, then surely that means you're hopeful?

-If it feels like a burden and all then I don't recommend really making a group, the way you described working with Utau being like 'work', it just sounds like a waste if the creator isn't interested/views it that way, if that makes sense. That's just how I see it
