There's nothing to be sorry about... I agree with Kiyo, if it feels more like a chore then don't do it. Utau should be a fun activity, if it's weighing you down then it stops being worth it. If you feel as though your skills can improve and that you can have more enthusiasm with the program, then surely that means you're hopeful?

-If it feels like a burden and all then I don't recommend really making a group, the way you described working with Utau being like 'work', it just sounds like a waste if the creator isn't interested/views it that way, if that makes sense. That's just how I see it

I'm hopeful.. for the character.
I don't want to waste anyone's time nor mine. I guess deep down I don't deserve a group.

UTAU in its self, I think it was a bad choice on my part. I really do want to quit this.

I feel like I have to do something. She won't be an Utauloid...and never will be...She will be a random doodle. !!Stick figures!!
(Plus I have a crush on the girl who was going to voice her and she likes UTAU. Don't tell her that though)

Aghh! That's going to be harder, I suck at everything I do. !! Stick figures!!

Anyway, Thank you. Oh and sorry for wasting you and kiyoteru's time.

If it's possible can someone please delete my account or have it deleted. Bye!

@Toki Takewaki Hey, hey. No need to be so discouraged. This is a really nice community, and we like to see people get involved.

If you consider UTAU something that isn't fun for you, then you certainly don't have to work with it or get involved, but I'd be sad to see you go regardless. Once you get going it's really fun!

You think everyone in this community starts out being fantastic in their trades? Definitely not. I think most of us here learned how to create art, videos, music, all that jazz BECAUSE we liked UTAU! So if you give yourself a chance, you will grow to become satisfied and happy, I think.

The people here were not trying to grill you on the spot.
The problem with the UTAU community is that, generally, projects that require a team end up dropping dead or never being completed. We simply wanted to know what you were looking for and what your solid ideas were. Since this is your thread, I think most of us assumed you'd be the head of the project, after all. But like I said, we weren't trying to put you on the spot and make you feel bad! Just take things one step at a time.

Start with the voicebank you want to release.
Find an artist or someone to draw the character for you if you aren't confident in doing finalized art by yourself - there's NO shame in asking for help!

After you have the bank recorded and art made for them, then you can find a demo song you want to cover. That's where you begin looking for PV makers/mixers/etc.

Take it one step at a time. There's not any need to rush. :uhuhu:

Hardly any of us knew what we were doing when we began.
When I found UTAU and Vocaloid 6 years ago, I definitely could not draw!
Let me show you something I have never shown anyone...
It's my first drawing of Miku, from July 2011. I was 15. Not only is it my first Miku drawing, but it was my first digital drawing.

Do you think I had any idea at all what I was doing?? Most definitely not!!

I became interested in art because I became entranced by Vocaloid characters. That's when I pushed myself to really begin drawing.

Now, over 6 years later?
Here's my most recent digital drawing, done today!

This applies to all things, not just art.
I didn't have aaaany idea about otoing or UTAU at all! I had NO idea how to mix or create videos or make music! But y'know what? I know how to do those things now, and I accept that I am not the best at any of it, but what matters is that I am going somewhere with these skills and I'm having fun as I learn.

So I don't think you should be so hard on yourself. If you truly want to leave this forum, I can't stop you, but.... take it from most of us here. You'll do great. I'd appreciate it if you stick around.

I'm up and down. I want to make others and myself happy, but that might not happen if I continue.

I will try... Only try. Some time in the future I may or may not post a song.

I don't want people feel how I feel if they joined my group. I will do this by myself.

I don't want to stay. I will get this done. Something in my gut doesn't feel right.

... Can I ask you guys something?

Sigh.

No matter what you choose to do, best of luck to you. I'm pretty negative towards myself as well but I wish you would give yourself and the community a chance.

I'm not deleting it now... I want to, but I won't right now.

I have almost nothing set. It's so frustrating.
