more words! :-D
What sounds specifically do you think need to be added to the list, may I ask? The example I provided with "tyu" is pretty indicative of the rest of the sounds that were left out of this list. All the words that include dyu/tyu are loanwords; for 'tyu', there are exactly 3 that begin with it. And it is replaced by 'chu' anyways in almost any context. What do you mean by editing phonemes doesn't 'work' for loanwords?
I believe it's certainly comparable to a "_angsts" end cluster in an English reclist; is it in the language? Yes. But only once. No English reclist you'll find includes that cluster; it's easily synthesized within UTAU for its singular purpose, and would otherwise just be filling up space.

The other parts seem to be addressed otherwise, but the aspiration is not referring to the nasal. It refers to stylistic aspiration that Japanese singers use. Ruko Yokune Kire is a whirlwind of aspiration; some reclists have taken the time to differentiate between the aspirated and nonaspirated variants of a consonant.

The only phonemes that have to be falsely synthesized in this list are non-Japanese ones. That's the point; it's Japanese centered. No nonsense.

As for 'standard' vs 'lite' VCV patterns, if you've ever written lists before, you'd see that they all fall into identical patterns based on their mora. It all depends on where one starts the pairing list. This reclist writer chose to start writing at the most logical point (a_a), which is what the OREMO list did as well. They're both the most logical constructions of the list. You can't 'rip off' math.

Effort editing a UST? Pshaw, here's the thing.
If the sound is rarely used then you're going to have to rarely edit the ust. You comparing あ to something like つぁ is like comparing an apple to a brick house. あ cannot be borrowed, it's a core vowel. But something like つぁ is literally tsu+a and thus can be derived from these sounds.
If it's choppy then the oto is wrong.

A "lite" list is a VCV list that relies on an external CV list to function. This list functions fully without one at all. You don't know what you're talking about at all.

I would write more but there's nothing more to say.
If there is nothing more to say, then you would not write more.
I do know what I am talking about, granted that my words may have been a bit jumbled in terms, I was simply going off the logic that this reclist was going off when it comes to comparing あ and つぁ
If sounds such as the removed were not quite necessary in the Japanese language, then those sounds would not be in the language since they could easily be replaced by broken up sounds such as the ones suggested

then it's not a reclist, it's a guide for making reclists
Cz has stated that one is allowed to add pieces to VCCV as they see fit and they work with her phonetic system. Would you consider the 1.0 of VCCV a "reclist making guide"?

I was just using it as a comparison - personally, I've seen those two phonemes on a number of occasions, so I can't really say as to why you've never seen it.

Again, you seem to completely not acknowledge loanwords, despite how important they are to the language - which is certainly much more than just "tuba" and others.

As for your last point, I made that point to bring up the legibility of how much more "flexible" it is than standard VCV - I personally don't care that much, beginers in the software may however, which is why it's significant

It's a reclist that you can add to. Terindie's Japanese guide is a guide

A guide is not a reclist, so this should at least be renamed to "Japanese VCV guide"
It seems the title is what is causing the most problems, as it is misleading

Exactly what are those missing sounds other than the previous ones you've explicitly stated? It's insane that you bring this up when the description of the resource page explicitly says you can add if you want to add.
But it also makes it clear it's not recommended - it's clearly made with the intent of NOT being edited

The example I provided was entirely composed of loanwords, and was sourced from the largest existing Japanese dictionary in the world (which includes such loanwords). Although, if you could provide examples of what's prominent enough in the language that I'm/this reclist is perhaps missing?

You can recommend not doing something while still allowing you to change it. There is no issue here.
It's made with the intent of "I don't recommend it, but nothing's stopping you so go ahead".

Try double checking something yourself rather than jumping in.
THIS is reclist by Suyeon based on Terindie's GUIDE. They are two separate things entirely.

First thing's first: Unless you can provide proof that I took this reclist from another source (and even if you provide your "proof," that wouldn't add any ammunition to the statements made thus far cause no reclist is purely unique when it's for a common language that's recorded), please don't try to make accusations about whether I "edited" a reclist that may or may not already exist. This reclist was made in collaboration with those who study language - Japanese in particular among others - day in and day out and to insinuate that they are ignorant about what's necessary and what's not is an affront that I cannot take lightly, but I'll let them do the honors of taking you to class on that particular issue.

As to answer the other concerns about "missing" sounds, I provided this reclist as a base for those who wish to have all the sounds they'll ever use in the average UST for a Japanese song made by a Japanese Vocaloid - which is where most of our USTs are derived from. I stated clearly in the resource that those who wish to edit and include the sounds I omitted are fully free to do so at their own discretion. I am under no obligation to provide these extras to accommodate someone's particular recording preferences when the pattern is simple enough for anyone to edit on their own. The vowels provide the general pattern and this general pattern has all the possible transitions you'll run across. There is no copyright to acknowledge, fee, or even requirement to credit me for the use of this reclist.

On the question of "choppy transitions," a correctly oto'd bank will be able to handle any transition you throw at it. Unless I'm being paid to configure it for you, your transitional issues are not my problem. Again, I'm not obliged to add extraneous samples that add bloat just to "make things easier" if you're not willing to edit a given UST you come across or examine your own configuration.

What's the difference between "wa" and "va"? D:

"w" is like the English "w" as in "water" or "will". You do it only with your lips, without the teeth touching the lower lip.

"v" is an English "v" as in "vault". It's the same as German "w".

what guide BGM is supposed to be used with this to make it work with the base OTO?
You can try anywhere from 100 to 120, but I honestly haven't tested this with oremo usage (I don't use oremo); sorry to say. In any case, you should edit the base values to best suit your personal recording preferences.

Excuse me, I really like this reclist and I would love to use it. Could you please direct me to a voicebank that uses this method? I would like to use it in the future as reference!

Try not to necro, if this counts as necroing.

It's the same as any other VCV voicebank.
