Deja Vu Japanese Cover WIP: Tuning tips?

Hi guys. I was wondering if I could get some advice to improve my tuning? This is my first time working with VCV/multipitch banks/moresampler, so I've had a lot to figure out in a short time and my tuning sounds pretty lousy so far. And I really want this project to be my best work, since it's such a gorgeous song. So if you can give me any feedback or advice about anything at all, I would really, really appreciate it.

Also, if there are any voicebanks that anyone thinks would go really well with this song, I still haven't decided for sure who I'm using. I'm working with Ritsu and Gahata Meiji right now, but that's not set in stone yet. So, suggestions?

(As a side note, Ritsu's voice is just this loud right now so you can hear the tuning a little better. I'm going to make it quieter/more subtle by the end, I swear.)

I can't really tell you how much I like this?? I don't have any tuning tips since I suck at tuning but maybe you could use Matsudappoine (Miku's part) and Matsudappoiyo (Luka's part) and I could render them for you. I think they would fit pretty nice, or at least Poine at Miku's part would most likely fit.

If you were to end up using them, message me and we can pick one of Poiyo's banks that would fit. (Since he has quite a few banks.)

You could use Ritsu and Ruko (the female bank is SOOOO nice in soft songs) or Ruko and Rook.
If you don't wanna use Vipperloids you can use Fuutari Makku, Re, Zuiga Mizuki or also Danny Hakaine, my main utau, if you like him (soon I'll release my soft append, so it will be much more fittable for this kind of songs^^)

Ooh, thanks for the suggestions! Also, you can't really tell from this sample, but the 2nd singer's part is a lot more forceful (the lyrics are pretty angry/accusing), so strong voices seem to work best for that one. Like, right now I'm using Meiji's Hunter bank for that one and it's not too overpowering to fit.

Ahh, thank you for the offer! I'll definitely check them out. I've always loved Matsudappoiyo's voice.

As in I can tune the UST for you if you send it to me (but of course you don't have to accept).
Oh wow. Thank you, that's super generous! But I think I'd rather work on it myself so I can learn as much from it as possible. I really appreciate the offer, though!

*Edit*
Thank you all for the suggestions, but I downloaded and tried out most of the banks you suggested and while I do really like a lot of them, I didn't really like how most of them worked with this song. (For some of them, like Kohaku's Balloon and Acrobat banks, that's probably just because they're so hard to work with/tune and I'm still a noob.) So... in the end I wound up deciding on ones that nobody actually suggested. ^^' Eheh... Sorry. Now I have a lot of good VCV banks, though, so thanks for that!

tip on vibrato:
I always try to put it on vowels that link to the earlier note (if its mi then i I fill the whole i note with vibrato) with no pitch bend on the i so blends

tip on pitch bending
I sing the song to myself and and try to imitate the pitch bend to see if it would sound cool.

resampler tip
I normally use tn fnds on low and not so dynamic songs ( i think tn fnds does well with deep smooth voices)
I made this while practicing tuning a year ago. I learned from watching editor recordings

Thanks so much for all the tips! :D They're all very helpful. I actually didn't even know tn fnds existed, so I'll definitely grab that ASAP. And funny story, after I posted this WIP I didn't know how to fix the tuning, so I did actually just sing it myself and try to replicate the pitch bends. It worked pretty nicely.

Hey I mean it. I'd love to get this song at some point.
Well I'm glad you like it! I'll have the full version out soon; it's all finished and mixed, I just need to finish the art and throw the video together and it'll be good to go, UST included.
