4 is basically ら り る れ ろ
in terms it's just the Japanese r

Oh, in the english phonetics, too? Okay, I was just confused.
They included it because English also uses 4. Like in the word ladder [l { 4 @`]

4 is the alveolar tap, used frequently in many English accents as a quick replacement for 't' or 'd'... Example: water [w Q 4 @r] in Vocaloid phonetics. We've had it since Ruby, Dex, and Daina

He's not bad, I like that he has a clear voice for the most part, some things are kinda hard to understand, he's very clear and nice in the rinse, repeat demo at the part where it's just the a capella.

I don't like how he says "wanna" though, maybe it's a weird pronunciation, idk. I don't know a whole lot with vocaloid phonetics, overall I like him though.

I must say the pronunciation is really cool wewantTonioV4omg but it's weird that they included only one syllabic consonant xD like... if you include @l, then use @m, @n, @N as well. Normally syllabic Cs are not really used in Vocaloid or even Utau because if you have a schwa-like sound, it blends well. Either you have all or you have none, don't you think?

Nice tone (he kinda sounds like long-lost American cousin of Léon at times) however iunno if it's because of the settings or tuning but darn, the "H's" sound weird to me x_x"' Usually it doesn't bother me when they're pronounced like that but for some unknown reasons it's very strange-sounding...

He sounds so good omg. I actually understood him without reading the lyrics which doesn't happen often. Yamaha has done a great job with him. He's clear, has a nice tone.

wow, he actually sounds kinda....good.
For some reason, even though his voice sounds totally different, he kinda sounds like a higher quality Dex...with a lower voice and better tone. I am going to blame the engine.

we have Cyva, now we have CyMAN lol

A lot of vocaloids go for disgusting clarity but he seems a bit more throaty in his pronunciation which is a nice change from the pure RASP that other voices have had. While he still sounds slurry and diluted he has much more character in comparison.
Words that use the more open "ah" such as "hard" and "wanna" are way too open and splattery but it's still better then what other libraries had.
You can tell they wanted him to be different and worked to prevent the shortcomings that libraries before him had.

I thought he was a joke at first
his voice is ok, pretty understandable. not my favorite type of voice, though.

I was at the dentist when I tapped on the video...Nobody noticed it was a synth voice (tho I actually didnt expect anyone to tho)...

He is so clear and his voice is so good. The voice also seems to fit the package image for some reason...

His name tho...It is so horrible...It could be "Cyber DJ"...It is kinda cliche but less generic...Songman...uh. No....

Alright, the name is horrid but dear god I love the voice. His accent I think is close to my own, so that might be part of the reason why he sounds so natural to me. I really like his tone, and I don't need to look at the lyrics to understand him. AND HE'S EXPRESSIVE. HE'S NOT MONOTONE. I'M SO HAPPY. OMG.

I wanna buy him so badly but I'm a broke college student LOL.

He sounds great; he's expressive and has good pronunciation, as previously mentioned, and I read he is designed to work well for all genres??? I hope it's true.
Also that is a beautiful design

I'm kinda suspicious if Cyman's really american, giving Yamaha's track-record.
Similar to how Cyber Dive is actually Japanese-American.

For example, in the Rinse, Repeat demo you can hear some quirks.
The "ah" in the word "wanna" is too open to be the american vowel.
The "oh" is know is too far back similar to the japanese vowel.
Some of his consonants are too subtle (for lack of better wording).
"Rinse" sounds kinda like "r\ i n s" with an ee sound.
etc.

He just has some non-american characteristics but he's still very nice.
his range is very small though at only 2 octaves.
