Komponant is building SING for OSX and Windows. SING will allow music producers to create stunning vocals in the box, eliminating the need for singers, hardware equipment (except for a computer), and live rooms. Please listen to our first demo Take Me Away, and if you think the voice you hear is limited in range and expression, you are absolutely right! SING is still under development. Komponant is seeking a cofounder/CTO and beta testers. Contact

So, SING is a new vocal synth under development by Komponant. This is the only demo posted

Their site is here.

wow- It sounds really decent (even considering how early it is)

Even though it still has that robotic tone, it's extremely understandable and smooth.
I like it, even with it's early-limitations it already has the upper hand.

I wonder if The programmer is still active...
But consdering how early it is, it sounds very clear, understandable and smooth.
(she has a deeper voice, but she reminds me of miriam)
I also signed up for beta testing xD

It sounds really nice. I must agree with the lifeless comment, but it's surprisingly clear.

I singed up up the day this thread opened, and haven't received any notifications. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

It said on one of the pages that it'd be available the 20th of August(or was it April....)

Either way hold your horses, this stuff takes time and considering most of you guys don't make music...or are skilled in using anything outside of utau...you're kinda taking spots that'd better be taken by someone who'd use it seriously (and not people looking for another toy because they're bored)
Burrrrn.

Be patient- All I'll say because they have only been public for a very short period of time.

Is it just me or have they replaced the track?
The one they have now is only 3 days old.

Oh goodness it is different. I think they added an intro section, I don't recall that having been there before. And the description changed. Activity? Let's hope this means development!

The vocals don't sound all that different, perhaps a little more clear.
I think most of the improvement is in the mix and such.

Hi, im so sorry to necro this thread, but on Komponant's facebook, the most recent post is from April 6th (i understand that was like 3 motnhs ago, but its still news)

We are excited to record our first sample library! SING is quickly developing into a full-blown vocal engine and we're looking for a singer. You could be a funk / soul singer (M or F) ideally. But more importantly, you need to have an "emotional", memorable, charismatic voice, no discernible accent (that is, if you're not American), and a fairly good vocal technique.
We will record a small sample library first (for research only, no commercial release). This could later lead to a full 2-3 weeks studio session.
Oh and we're still looking for a community manager. Don't hesitate to get in touch.

This might be out of date, and their still looking for a community mannager

I like how it sounds robotic, while still being totally understandable. Also, I signed up for beta as well.
