I shorten an existing note to make a ending rest (like [a R]) and then the generated rest doesn't have mod 0 so it sounds off compared to the note before it. When I started UTAU this would frustrate me so I would not use those useful ending notes.

The FAQ says you must redownload the installation file and the voicebanks after changing locale. So you must've not changed locale properly or did not redownload everything. Using the installation file you had before changing locale does not work and neither does using your old voicebank...

I've stopped using Youtube for UTAU covers after they took out video responses. I might just plan to use Soundcloud because I don't want to waste my time making a video but I already made a Vimeo channel with 6114JN that's kind of already abandoned anyway...
