Hi, I’m Rodolphe. I’m new here and I’m the founder of Komponant. We’re building a new Text-to-Voice software that can sing and speak expressively.

We’re looking for singers (M/F) to create a new voice. Here is a short teaser (we're still in development stage):
We’ve done a lot of progress since that demo and we're aiming at a realistic and truthful voice.

What you need:
- a good vocal technique (essentially, a good pitch accuracy and dynamic control)
- the ability to record yourself in fairly good conditions (decent mic + no background noises)
- a strong motivation! Is it a paid job? Yes, but we first need to actually release our product. We’re a team of 3 people building this, and no one gets paid for the moment. We’re looking to grow our team!
- US English as primary language is a must too.

We’re looking for all kinds of voices, across all genres. We’d love to work with a female singer, as our first test voice (Julian) is male.

I'd love to voice one, but you all ready said no to me... I wish I could sing better. Good luck finding more, though.

Im intrested , I already know one of your team.
I am female ( and I have a church choir sort of voice haha ), how do we have to send a sample or such ? I am able to record in a studio (because of contacts ) , but my sample will be with my mic from home.

I could be interested... the only "problem" is that english isn't my main language but I'm in a high school specialized in foreign languages so I think my accent isn't so bad

I'd be interested in contributing. However, like the above questions, I have some as well.
~Would any other banks for other programs have to be discontinued. (UTAU, TTS etc.)
~What would need to be recorded, and when.
~Is there any way to get in better contact other than Utaforum

I've seen demo's from you before so I am very interested o u o9

I wouldn't mind helping out with vocal development. If you need help with it right now that is.

Well, Kenji-B didn't discontinue his UTAU after Dex was released. I know EmpathP discontinued Namida, though.

I am interested in this though.
If he didn't remove it (I even sent him a message in concern about it), then he'll be on the hot seat when/if Yamaha finds out. It's part of the contract that once you give your voice to Yamaha's engine, you can't have any other synth voices available from another engines. That's why Makune Hachi is discontinued as well.

As for the subject at hand @RodolpheO , where can interested individuals gain more information about this synth, send in their audition pieces, and establish a line of contact outside of Utaforum.net or Vocaloid Otaku? You say that you're seeking 'decent' quality recordings... What would be the minimum quality of acceptance (specific brands need not be stated), given that many voice library creators don't have access to much more than commercial USB mics? Are you looking for a specific American dialect/open to any regional accents, or do you desire the more neutral 'General American?'

Kenji already addressed the reason his UTAU wasn't taken down. The Vocaloid contracts state that there is a time period for other synth works, and Kenji recorded his UTAU out of this time period so he is allowed to leave it up- but he is not allowed to do any other synth works until his Vocaloid contract is up.

Ah, gotcha. If it was in a video/livestream/tweet, then I didn't see it. I just know my message wasn't answered. I don't go out of my way to stalk producers on a regular basis. ^^;;

I do believe it was on a livestream, it's a-okay. Just wanted to clear some things up. Have a good day!
