Names meaning "red" suggestions?

I suck at picking out names, and as much as I google, I always feel like someone will know a much better name lol
Does anyone have any suggestions for a name meaning "red" or anything related/associated with the color red?
I don't just want to name my UTAU Akane or something LOL Akane is a cute name but it's very obvious I guess?

I'm mainly looking for anything of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, or Polish descent names but anything outside of that is cool too

well, red is generally "akai" (and sometimes "aka"). i think you could try "Akakibara" (赤きバラ my keyboard gives me that, not sure) which means "Crimson Rose". I heard this in Final Fantasy XIII japanese dub I think XD I think it is very cool!

Haha I like the idea of a red rose :P Your suggestion lead me to a wiki list of flowers and now I'm highly considering naming her after a flower! ^^

I just saw that one, I agree as well c: I do have a question, that's like semi-unrelated to this topic, and you might possibly know?

Say you have a word/adjective in Japanese that ends with the letter n (for the sake of this, lets say the word -chan LOL), and you want to add on 音 (ne) to it.
Do you think it would it be like Cha-ne or Cha-nne?

Like this? -> ちゃん音。It will be "Cha-nne"。ＩＦ you type like this tho 「ちゃ音」 You'will get "Cha-ne", which means "Sound of Tea" (cause cha=Tea)

Hong is the Chinese word for red (it's also the Vietnamese word for pink) and Đỏ (pronounced like "daw?") is Vietnamese for red. You can also try using different shades of red for names such as scarlet, cerise, and alizarin.

Ahh, so it is double N! And yeah, I meant -chan like in ちゃん :P (I also forgot cha was the word for tea LOL) That cleared it up, thank you ^^

Well, logically it'd be Channe

Also late to party but there are Beni, Poppy, Coquelicot (poppy in French), hóng (means red in chinese, written with same character s japanese beni)

Anyway, thanks for those suggestions as well ^^ I've seen beni before (i.e. Red rose is benibara) and I've put that one on my maybe list tbh :P

hóng sè means red in Mandarin Chinese but is kinda hard to put in katakana....

Rouge (French)
Ahmar (Arabic)

Maybe try getting ideas from those? :/ (and I'm bad at making names too RIP)

You don't have to be restricted to red meaning in different languages, there are also flowers that have a color variation that can come in different colors or other items related to red like velvet for example, velvet can be found in shades of red despite being a fabric textile or as in velvet cupcakes, which velvet cupcakes are seen as red color. Hope this helps with looking for other names that can be related to red color

I know "Yuri" is the Japanese name for lily but as a flower they can be in variety of colors aside from being a red flower, also flowers do have their own respective meanings which holds significants to them as well.

You can also go for a name of a red gemstone - like ruby ( or rubin/rubis), pyrope, cinnabar, carnelian, tourmaline.
There are also fancy colors like vermilion or carmine!
( Or maybe those are too fancy...? )
