USB mics, Windows 10 and some bugs

Apparently there was a bug in windows 10 (and 8) that make USB mics sound very quiet, setting the gain to max is no help because you will also pick a lot of background noise

The video above will explain it more

So, My suggestion is to buy a XLR mic if you had windows 10, but, if you can play around this bug let me know (cause I also wanna a USB mic )

I have Win10 and a USB Mic and I've never had problems with it. I think you'll be fine.

I have a USB mic as well and have not encountered this bug. The only "bug" I have encountered is when I use my mic (Snowball) in other programs like Skype, it will cause my computer to crash. This, however, is due to the driver being incompatible with the constant windows 10 updates. I've noticed that it only affects my computer when I use skype, so there's something between skype-my computer-Mic that isn't going through.

My mic has been working fine since I got it in late 2015. So this bug is probably only between certain mics, and of course, windows. When you're searching for your mic and find a couple in particular, research and see if they have any compatibility bugs
