What does it take to be considered an "old" member?

I've been into Vocaloid since 2011, same with UTAU. A lot of users consider themselves older users, so I'm wondering what the criteria is to proclaim that. Being around in 2007? 2008? 2009?

What makes an UTAU user "old"?

I think it depends when UTAU was officially introduced. In this case, the years Teto Kasane and Defoko were created.

I feel like 2009 Utau and Vocaloid users are already old. ^^;

I don't consider myself to be part of the oldest wave, since I started in 2011. But, thinking on it, that means I've been around for 6 years... wow.

I'd say 4-5 Years? Idk, imo it doesn't really depend on when someone got to know it, since rather, only the time matters. Like, I started last year, so in 2026, I'd still be an old member, even tho I didn't start when UTAU was introduced. Then again, it also depends on the user perspective.

Imo anyone who have been aroud for over 4-5 years falls under old, maybe not the oldest, but they've certanly been around for a long time.
Esp when most people starts in their teens, They've been here for 1/3 of their lives when they started!
