Well, this is no surprise, isn't it? The major backlash has triumphed once again, leaving me in the corner of defeat as always. Anywho, that aside, I've decided to officially look for a new group name for my UTAU. Normally I'd say I'm doing thing because it's the right thing, but for some reason, I honestly don't feel right doing this; unfortunately, all the peer pressure and shaming is too much for me and my UTAU and I frankly just want to finally get all these troubles off my back and to return to my isolated lifestyle and away from others for good. But I can't really do any UTAU-related things until I have a new name set for them and I haven't the slightest idea for any potential suggestions I can think of.

In terms of the group name, I'm looking for a name that consists of four letters, needs to be related to boy characters, and maybe start with an "X" or "XO" since my UTAU are all young boys. A poll will be opened once I can come up with at least three options.

Perhaps do not have a group name reading shonen or anything like it? That might solve the issue.
I still want the name to be related to boys in some way, since that's what my UTAU are; it doesn't have to be shonen-related. But I don't want the name to be related to men or manliness because that's not what they are. In all honesty, if there's one thing I really hate doing, it's catering to the audience. I'm not going to make a change for the sake of their needs; it doesn't seem right to me frankly. It might benefit others, but it won't benefit me.

You do realize the shonen part of the name is the problem? We all tried to help you, but rather you made a scene and said we were harassing you. You do realize what the connotation behind the word shonen is, right? We were trying to help you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with young male UTAU voicebanks or characters, but the connotation behind the word shonen is horrible and we're trying to prevent your utaus from being connected to such behavior. We were trying to help you, but you refuse to accept the help. There is nothing we can do to help, and it won't stop until you drop the "shonen" part of the name.

You could just give a random name for the group, perhaps their personalities or colors. Doesn't have to resort to manliness just because they're boys. Be creative!

Shonen. It is the appropriate term for a young male, and it has no nasty connotation behind it. It still starts with "sho", and it's far more appropriate for their potential audience.

As I've stated so many times, I understand and I'm no longer going to go for anything related to that word. I'm getting tired of this as much as everybody else is and frankly I'd rather put myself out of my misery than repeat this all over again.

I'll let you in on a confession: everybody in the UTAU community frightens me. I actually appreciated the help, really I do, but the way everybody gave me the advice really scared me, as if imposing it; Erin especially made it worse for me. I've seen how the other users act online, be it through the Chatbox, thread, etc.; whether or not I'm familiar with them, their words and actions give me impressions of how I perceive them, including their presentation. It's not that I refuse the advice; in fact, I take lots of things into consideration, especially in my works. I apologize for blathering about these useless things, but I should at least tell the truth because it's been bothering me for a long time.

But how to make it into just four letters? The name can probably start with "XO", but how to do the "nen" part into two letters?

I'm not really good at being random. Something will eventually come up, if anything at all.

Hm, wanting the new name to be four letters, have X or XO in it, and have something to do with young boys kind of sets up the new name to the exact same as the last one. I agree with @Shasta that people were trying to help you. The word shonen will just have negative and sexual connotations, so when you use the word(even though I know this wasn't in your intentions) it sounds like the blatant sexualization of young male characters, the equivalent if someone used shoujo.

Maybe as Shasta said, use Shonen of Xonen? There are different ways to describe these kinds of characters, and better ways that don't seem inappropriate.

As I've been told that many my times. Something will come eventually. Who knows.

Idk, you might have to give up the four letter thing you want.
Someone gave those same suggestions, but they don't just look nice. I'll keep looking, though.

Yes and it has to work with my UTAU. I'm having trouble coming up with one myself.
Man... uh... xato... axon...? like, can't think of one that will define "shonen" either but any of these can serve as a name, right?

Please don't say "shonen" anymore. I've already had trouble with others because of the mentioning of that word and it's making me feel more awful about myself.
