Bye, have fun doing the life thing.

btw not to be rude-- I don't understand the need to ask for accounts to be deleted. It's common practice to just put a profile post stating that you no longer use the site and/or abandon it. Especially when the admins are too busy or not around to take care of things.
So probably leave a status update if anything :-)

We don't delete accounts outside of COPPA violations or SPAMbot accounts. Even account bans don't actually result in the deletion of the account, just the account being flagged as banned. This policy exists mostly for archival purposes so that historic discussion isn't disrupted and previous posts maintain their context, within each individual forum's edit and self-delete guidelines (it varies).

If you have any questions or concerns about UtaForum's data retention policies please reference our Terms and Rules page or contact the staff about specific inquiries. As for the purpose of the retired usergroup? To have a nondestructive account flag that communicates a user is leaving the community (thus replies to their posts may not be responded to) but also to leave the door open for the user to return down the road if they wish to.
