What Spanish VCCV Reclist would be better?

So I made a Spanish VB using Aura's reclist, but I was wanting to do a demo and I plugged in a ust just for a demo and it didn't work, as it used Aku-P's reclist! Now I was gonna make usts anyway, but I wanted a quick demo and most usts use miku/aku-p's reclist, so what should I record in?

No offence to Aura, but her lists are pretty bad, at least for the languages she doesn't speak. I've heard from a lot of natives who say they don't understand it. Aku's list is currently the most popular and the easiest to work with, so I'd say record his list.

Okay, thanks for the info! no pun intended i sWEAR Aku's list seems a little bit different from a normal VCCV in terms of use. Is there a guide for pronunciation for his?

There's also a reclist by bluCITRUS and was wondering if this one was any good?

Maybe you can download his voicebank and listen to the recordings?
I'll do that! Some say that it's more like CVVC, I downloaded bluCITRUS's one and it's crazy! tones of recordings and folders and it's TONS but the pronunciation guide has some things that seem to be nearly the same

Okay, so I downloaded Mike's bank, and it seems that the aliases don't really match up with how they actually are/sound in Spanish? The h sometimes sounds soft, but sometimes is a hard h like 'j', and the J is actually soft, so I just hope there's SOME sort of guide or way to contact him?

Vowels are encoded same way in all Spanish voice banks (a, i, u, e, o) but with consonant there might be some little variation (the most commonly ñ and ll can have different ways encoding). Also, some Spanish VCCV has full CCV and VCC recordings while some don’t, I recommend to check how this VBs are configured.

I think that Aura’s reclist aren’t that bad, she has put lot of effort on her reclists and oto. The reason why she’s not sound always very understandable might be more on her accent - not because of reclist.

I cant seem to find the 'll' in his bank so it seems like it may just be merged with 'y', but ñ is aliased as 'nh' in his banks.
I'm still wondering how to record J, I think with H it would be more like 'o o l la' than 'ho o l la'
I looked at a ust he made and 'Espejo (mirror)' was written as 'es p pe e h ho' so I think that clears that.
J on the other hand...Just seems to be an english recorded J.

Actually now that I go through this more..The j seems to be what he uses for 'll', but is recorded like a soft english j. In European Castilian Spanish, it would just be a y sound, but I heard that in some latin american countries, they use the soft j. Should I record it as the y or soft j?

Yes, there’s two ways to pronounce LL, one is like “y” and another is like English “j”. If you want to sound more “standard Spain Spanish” you probably wanna record as more like “y” but if you want more variation/accent(?) then go with “j”. As far as I know, both are correct pronouciation, if up to you which accent you’ll go by I personally would probably pick “j” as ll can be so easily sound same to y

I think I might try and record it as 'j' because if I really wanted it to be standard, I could always change the ust to use 'y'

I was also wondering if there was any BGM to record this to or tempo? because I can't tell how fast my recordings should be..

I'm using a thing right now called 'One Note Jazz' but I'm worried my recordings might be too short? If that's the case it won't hurt the bank at all will it? It'll just take otoing?
