How do you make uta/defoko sing? in utau?

i'm not that much of a noob i know how to make utaus sing like teto etc..

but how do you get uta to sing i'm confused if you put the lyrics in hiragana she should be understand it but doesn't someone help me

When you downloaded UTAU, was your locale set to Japanese ? Or did you switch your locale to Japanese after downloading UTAU? If you switched your locale to Japan after downloading and installing, Defokos files might be named in appropriately. Also, check Defokos voicefolder to see if her files are in hiragana.

If you check her oto in “Voicebank Settings”, is there a playback? Double click the file and if you can hear defoko, then it’s not an oto problem. Is it your resampler?
