UTAU in a talent competition?

So, I was thinking about this all day yesterday and just wanted to share this idea with everyone else: What if an UTAU (hologram and all) was auditioned for a talent competition like America's Got Talent?

I mean, we do have the technology to make it possible. It's not really a question of possibility, it's really a question of how well do you think the UTAU would do.

//Please keep in mind this is all hypothetical//

We could, though there would be some factors to take in account, including :

- The choice of the UTAUloid (who could pretend to enter, which standard of quality will be kept in mind, would it be a Vipperloid or any big famous, or if it'd be better to go with outsiders etc)
- Which use for originals/covers (again the mold, the level, etc -so who would be the tuner behind them)
- The reaction of people who don't have a clue about UTAU, and other synthesized vocals programs in general if the UTAU is in a general contest, and not an UTAU audition one (if they'll accept it and enjoy, or if they'll worry about a kind of "unfair" competition towards human singers...)

Myself would have fun seeing this happening one day (when I look at Vocaloids having concerts and such) though I'd also have a certain apprehension about it, mainly because of what I've stated above

I'm sure whoever would be ambitious enough to go through with the idea would have that all in mind as well, with the exclusion of originals (on the show, whenever someone performs a song that wasn't on the radio, they remind them to "sing songs everyone knows", but would usually end up going home during the voting rounds).

As for the contestants, I don't think it'd matter. The singers go up against dancers, magicians, comedians, and other types of performers. A hologram wouldn't be much different. If it was American Idol or the X-Factor, then I could see an issue, though. AGT just seems more... Well, plausible.

The thing is, is that you would have to have an UTAU that can sing in the language of the audience. (For example: if you're going for America's Got Talent/ Britain's Got Talent you would need an english voicebank) The reason I say this is because there are times when people went, sang in another language than the one the audience speaks and it was just a bad idea.
This should give you an idea of what I mean:
