Oremo and BGM

I was wondering , since BGM is needed to record a vcv with every sample at the same time , isn't it possible to make a vcv reclist with a bgm and a base oto that doesn't need to be edited to work?

Well, BGM isn't something one MUST use to create a vcv bank, it's just one of the tools to help you record the string with a certain bpm(you can also use tempo guide in oremo). One can make BGM's fitted to different mora reclists. But you will always have to edit the base oto, due to pronunciation and timing (edit as in moving the starting point).

If you use the generated OTO, BGM means that you have a consistent offset at the beginning every time, so really the only adjustment needed is when the detection is off-time (ex. vowel strings, y/w strings, m/n strings...) So while it is possible to bundle a BGM and base oto with a new reclist, only the BGM is necessary since a well-versed OREMO user will be able to generate their own base OTO.

The upcoming English VCCV™ is going to come with a base OTO because it's not a hiragana japanese reclist. So if you intend to do something like develop an Italian CVVC reclist to be recorded in OREMO with guideBGM, creating a base OTO to fit the timings would be beneficial to end users.

I had an idea. What about recording a 2mora vcv bank with a bgm and find a value to set on every string with setparam?

With consistent timing on every sample, theoretically, it means that every single sample requires the exact same parameters. The only thing that would need changing is the alias, because oremo reclists can't handle spaces.

...Yeah , that would be the only matter , but the 2mora has anyway a romaji vcv without any aliasing needed , so at least I can use that plugin (iroiro I think idk) to make romaji vcv and use it anyway
