Other Synthesizers

I have used various other synthesizers such as Flinger in the past, now I am working on my own clone of Flinger. When I was still using Flinger, then I did not know about UTAU yet. I read about UTAU in a forum provided by the developers of Flinger.

I would like to recommend the software Melody Assistant
it comes with a built in demo for Virtual Singer and it's wonderful you can even record your own.
The voice's are choir like though
here's my demo of Virtual singer http://sasuke-kiseki.deviantart.com/art/VirtualSinger-AveMaria-Luka-Hagiwara-North-French-503334167

Justly, that was the program and feature i was talking about when this thread started OTL But I wanted to advance Marie as far as I can before showing it (because she sounds eh at the moment and i really need to re-record) and that I wanted her to cover all the languages you can play in the program (except German, I lost patience and I don't have a clue about Finnish) and it's sorrowful you can only export a very few seconds when you just use the demo and didn't buy the whole program T^T"' but oh well
I've tried to mess around with it but... urgh
https://app.box.com/s/b0wg6er4gpg9dskxsnin (one of oldest tests, with South-French)
https://app.box.com/s/fcvfu4ib0xbmh84l59io (I think it was one of the American English test...'Cause I tested the British on another song)
https://app.box.com/s/aar7dfll58r0nvvkaiyr (Japanese test)
https://app.box.com/s/kxfoez0epmf7syqwc4yv (Another American English and I tried some random crap impro' with the other voices making BG lyrics and saying random stuff like "yeah cutie pie" |'D )
https://app.box.com/s/w8plr6rgpnf6fu55a6kf (Random test with a language that isn't supported yet by the program aka Breton |'D )
https://app.box.com/s/8hp94vctn07s75gh3ma1 (Random chorus in Japanese)
https://app.box.com/s/vua4qg6qt6y4gvdhisex (Italian test)

(also God bless Real Singer to have this "if you mispronounce, redo it until you're right, noodle" system so my English and such are less crappy than as usual <3 Aaaaand another great feature which is to be multilingual inside of a same music hseet by just typeing the code of the language before the language switch~ )

Moreover, it also avoids you to record if sensors feel there is too much BG noise

I'm fairly certain that RealSinger's synthesis engine is something like the same technology used for Vocaloid1, although probably on a smaller scale (and implemented into a software that's painfully difficult to use). There are some times when people successfully tricked others into thinking they imported their voices to the Vocaloid1 engine by providing samples with RealSinger.

It can be pretty tricky to get it to sound good. When I was doing experiments with it last year, I managed to get my sister to record an American English bank, and did a cover of a song she chose.

I was able to render all the vocals for the song because it's incredibly repetitive. So I only had one of each lyric section in a MIDI, then I recorded the output with Audacity+Stereo Mix. For a longer or more complex song, it might take multiple MIDI to get every lyric, since you have to close+reopen the program after the trial has been used up.
