I know what you mean. "i" and "I" sounds the same to me ;-; and "@" is unknown. I tend to say "{", "A", or "E/e" in the words that use it...

I've heard arpasing is much simpler and has fewer of those sounds. Plus, the purpose of UTAU is self-expression! Your accent is part of who you are. Personally, I find all languages and accents simply fascinating, so I think having an accented English VB would be really cool.

@PrinceofHades Actually, all of those vowels are there. It's just easier to pronounce since it's in a word based form.

I honestly recommend listening to the samples on Wikipedia IPA/X-SAMPA pages to practise or just listen to a few banks, UTAU and Vocaloid.

Q sounds ugly when I say it ; { is a true pain though now i handle it better, I tend to merge @, 3 and V into @ despite being able to be rhotic for 3 and ar, ir, etc I tend to pronounce unvoiced th as a slight f when I'm tired or singing/speaking fast etc OTL""' ;;;

@Fanicom I have little tried out recording VCCV before and found out that that VB type is difficult to record without an "awkward accent".

With the "awkward accent" thing I mean that specific sounds when are used sounds always very VERY forced and unnatural no matter which VCCV Eng VB is used (I can only think 2 expectations tho). And it's because how it's recorded, especially with CC's
