  • Before I start holding UTAU voice auditions, I should start with a list of rules, guidelines, etc.?

Only if you want to- honestly, you'll be extremely hard pressed to find voicers, since most people already voice plenty of their own characters.

I've got one person I'm already considering; the other one I'll probably have to wait for until I get the UTAU's pictures done.
I've voiced every UTAU I every created so far, but is it wrong if I make an UTAU and have somebody else voice him for a change?
How do you change the color of your text in the Chatroom?

There'll be a button between the > and B buttons that kinda resembles a color palette. If it's not there, then you can't yet.

I see. I don't have it yet. I probably have to reach a certain point in order to "unlock: it. Is it the same with uploading more that two pictures on the UTAU showcase?
The USTs for Teto Teto in the Wonder Night and gala gala Special Happy Night are all done! But the off vocals still sound poor quality!
What's the best way to make off vocals not sound blurry?

It really makes me wonder how folks are able to create such great off vocals, while still maintaining the song's original volume.

I'm pretty sure most of them bought the off-vocal and posted them online :/

I'd ask folks if they can help me find high quality off vocals of certain songs, but I worry if I'll sound too much like a bother to them. So I always put the stress upon myself and am forced to use the easy way out. Plus, my sister, another UTAU user, isn't interested in helping me at all.
Curious. Would Cdra's VCCV reclist be considered a good substitute for an English VCV?

It's written by Chezzie, and it's essentially the standard english list nowadays. It's possible to get it to sound pretty good, and it's far more efficient than doing full VCV.

It's a good thing I downloaded Cz before this fiasco started. I'll try it out. Also, Zarsla said that she's got a JP add-on made for Chezzie's English VCCV, so I'll use both of them to hopefully make a decent VCCV for my UTAU.
Does anybody know where I can find an English VCV reclist?

If you're looking to do a full english VCV bank, note that it'll be horrifically inefficient. Adrian's bank is a finished example, some lists in development are notsoul's, zoku's, and mine.

I'll try to come up with something. Besides, this is probably the only time I'll ever create a bilingual VCV.
I'm heading off to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I'll be back in a couple of hours.

    Le gasp!

The Monterey Bay Aquarium was so much fun. I saw the coolest sea creatures up close for the first time, including my favorite fish of all time: the regal blue tang!

There was this one penguin who stood at a corner far away from the other penguins, looking so proud of being viewed by their audience. There were also two penguins that looked like they were mating right before our eyes.
Does anybody know how to resize your UTAU's gallery pictures? Or do I have to make them smaller to fit them in?
Q.P.'s voicebank is finally finished! Just need a few more adjustments and then he's all set!
I'm now on the vowel tracks. Better stack up on water bottles!

    What are you recording?

I'm recording a multilingual CVVC UTAU with English and Japanese compatibility named Q.P. He's sort of an experiment, since after recording so many CVs, it's my first time recording a CVVC; therefore, his sound clips might sound inconsistent and rough. I'm also making plans to record a VCV for him once he settles into the UTAU community.
