How do people end up with successful UTAU anyway? Their covers sound amazing, the bank itself is godly, the designs are neat and cool... but how do you get there? I know this is probably an extremely stupid question, but all I've done in the two years of knowing UTAU, I've only made one decent...

Am I going in the right direction with this? Sorry for the crappy phone image, I don't have an usable tablet, nor the skill to use said tablet, so I'm stuck doing traditional art. :cynical: I'm trying to go for something that actually fits my voice for once I don't really have a good example...

Personally, I tried to make one of those "just cause" and not for any sort of distribution, but I failed. Horribly. As long as they aren't being thrown out there for download, being monetized, or anything of the sort, I suppose I'm okay with it.

Wait, so if I want to cover a song (with an UTAU, mind you), I have to learn Japanese, somehow find the creator, and convince them to let me cover it? Dear god, this just made UTAU near impossible for me.

Perhaps the model has far too many physics and/or unneeded vertices. I've had that same problem before, except it was just crashing MMD, rather than essentially freezing it.
