What should work would be to open UTAU, then go to the Project Property>Voices>Other Voicebank. Once there, go to the tab Bank Regist. and click on Select..., then go to that UTAU's voice folder. Once there, select one of the samples in the root folder (don't open the C5, E4 etc... folders) and...

How can I convert it to a Connect bank, and make it work in Cadencii?

It is advised to make each pitch not too separated from the other. Making them about 4 or 5 semi-tones apart is good enough (like recording A2 and D3). Do that to prevent distortion from pitch to pitch.

The prefix map doesn't work, indeed. Anyone knows how to fix it? Thanks!
