I'm new to Utau and Art, but I was wondering if anyone had some tips on art and stuf.

My sister is good at both, and she help me oto and stuff, but I want to be able to draw original art, and not be a tracer.

Any tips would be helpful!

Sorry if this is not in the correct section of the forums, im new D:

If so, please move it or something!

Thanks!

Just go on Youtube and watch other artists draw and color but looking up "speedpaint"
You can also find videos on UTAU by looking for "UTAU tutorial" or even by going on just Google.
That's how I learned. ^^
Hope I helped!

YUS what dolly said. Loads of tutorials and speedpaint.
Download a trial ver. of Paint Tool SAI. To me, it's the easiest drawing software to work with.

For UTAU, I would just recommend looking up tutorials. You'll get the hang of the freeware. It's quite easy to understand once you play around with it. Make sure you look for the English patch too~

Well with art if I could make a suggestion...don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. I know anime style is fun and colorful and the majority of the fandom does it but you should also attempt realism at some point too. Anime is afterall a stylized and exaggerated form of real life.

I'm not asking you to go to like a life drawing session and then come back, I'm just saying every now and again, mimic a style that leans a bit more towards realism. Study it as best you can and then apply what you learn to an anime style, it'll help a lot I promise.
