How do you make the wavering voice effect that is in a lot of "human tuning" covers?

I love how it sounds, but I'm not sure how to get the effect :'( Is it through envelope? Or is it something else? Thanks

If you're talking about vibrato:

1. Ensure you're in mode 2

2. Select the note you want to add vibrato to

3. Right click the note and select "pitch"

4. Check "Vibrato"

5. Click OK

6. You'll get this little wavy line on the note, and below it there will be an object. By grabbing the two handles on the below object, you can manipulate the speed and intensity of the vibrato.

If you mean something like when they start a note quietly and then get stronger as they go up, vice versa, or when the "volume" of the note seems to shake like/with vibrato; With UTAU you would be messing with the Envelope.

With VOCALOID it'd be the Dynamics(DYN) parameter. Some people will do the "vibrato"wavy bend in the DYN option too for notes that'll add a cool little wavering feel to them. You could also do 100% vibrato on notes of a certain length that gets kind of a nice shaky voice effect but like...use it wisely. Pretty much pitchbends and vibrato are half of your basic fight....dynamics are the other half because when used correctly it's like adjusting the power or energy of a note.

Sorry, I didn't describe it well enough DX I know how to make vibrato, but it doesn't sound as real as something like this:

The human voice naturally sways in pitch, your best bet is to listen to a real singer and try to duplicate that.
If you get stuck, then you can try humming what you want and looking at the pitchbends in something like PitchMonitor

Try to reference a real singer for your utau cover (preferably the same song) and you'll get the jist well enough to just wing it.
