An UTAU I'm planning on releasing soon was planned to be named Bion Kimusume. Bion for nasal sound, Kimusume for innocent young girl. But now that I look back, the kanji for Kimusume (生娘) also mean virgin.
Would the Japanese look at her name and instantly think "virgin" and of her name in a sexual nature? Or will they easily see the "innocent young girl" side of it? Is the connotation of "virgin" even the same in Japan as it is in America?
I'm guessing this is a question for someone more in tune with the Japanese, but still, advice as to whether I should keep her name Kimusume or not would be highly appreciated.
