So I recently got UTAU and only have Defoko and Teto (both use hiragana).
I wanted to get Laru Mine, which is my favorite UTAU but I can't get him to work. The download had 4 folders with voice files and also some other files. Here is the folder:

I copied all the files into one folder I just called "Laru" in the voice section of UTAU. I managed to find it in in the project properties and imported it to see a picture of Laru in the top corner:

Yet, when I hit play, there isn't any noise. When I used the other voicebanks they used Hiragana so I'm thinking it might be something else like kana idk
There also was a "How to use" file but I don't understand any of what it means:

If it helps, here is the one I downloaded http://utau.wiki/utau:mine-laru

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I want to use Laru so much!!! ^-^

This voicebank is a VCV style bank. The way notes are entered for VCV is a little different.
VCV stands for vowel-consonant-vowel, and it only usable with aliases like this.
    [- あ] [a か], etc.
Here is a video about different types of UTAU banks!

You don't need to worry about stressing too much. There's a plugin that'll convert USTs to VCV format for you, and then he should work.

You can still download it. Get iroiro.zip and install it for UTAU. I changed the language in the plugin itself, running it in UTAU. Run it and take a screencap for me. I don't have my PC on hand but I can tell you what to click on if I see it.

Sounds like you have UTAU installed to Program Files. Move everything out to somewhere else on your computer, like Desktop or Documents.

    Let's try my iroiro then.
Extract this archive and place it into your plugins folder within the UTAU folder.
When you open it in UTAU, it'll likely appear in Japanese like so.

Make it into English by going to the menu up top, very top left. Think where "File" would be in most Windows programs.
Here's an edit if you're unsure.

A second small window will pop up. Just tick the "language" box and then close and restart the plugin.
