Shadow was created in a lab along with two others, Storm and Neko by a trio of kids. She was the oldest of the group, and the lead creator's personal favorite. When the trio grew up, they were joined by another trio, Snow, Ruka and Angel. The six developed an odd bond, and felt it was the start of something. They were later joined by a pair of young children, Elian and Vincent, and together, after the odd group finally united as one, officially became Project SHASTALOID. None of the members have biological families, but consider each other as siblings.
Shadow is the self proclaimed leader of the group and the self proclaimed founder. She is a headstrong, and very stubborn teenage girl who has a strong hatred for nearly everything. She says it's her hatred and spite for the world that motivates her to excel. Shadow always has the desire to be the best, and if she sees someone is better than her, she'll mentally crush them until she feels they're at her level. She gets jealous easily and tends to over react, but deep down, Shadow is a really sweet girl. She's been trying for years to become a better her, but her, as she would say, childish tendencies, tend to get in the way. Shadow is also incapable of feeling any sort of love, or romantic attractions towards other beings.
