Sora Hoshiko is a kind hearted trouble maker. He craves attention, so he does dumb things regularly. He isn't really one for crowds, but he likes always having someone around. He is the son of two Japanese immigrants, he lives in the city, and he has no siblings. Things get pretty lonely and it emotionally drains him. When a new kid moved in to his neighborhood, he instantly got Sora's attention. Sora and Kevin clicked almost instantly, and they two became best friends. Then a girl came into the picture and Sora wasn't having it. Sora hated Star when he first met her because he was afraid Star was going to take his best friend away. Later, the Song twins came into the picture.
These five were inseparable once things settled down. The five auditioned for Project SHASTALOID's Extended Series together, and all five of them were accepted. Sora did get jealous that Kevin was picked to be the male lead instead of him, but Sora swallowed his pride and stood beside his best friend to support him.
