I crave old drama.
I don't have any myself really, but I know that others do.

Your computer's hard drive dies and it has voicesynth stuff in it
This was a mistake
You listened to an amazing song and instantly had the need to cover it. Fortunately, someone made a ust for it! As you excitedly open up the ust while thinking up the best voicebank to cover the song with, you stiffen in horror as you see
There once was a guy who was hated by the whole community for his foolish acts.
Let's keep this light-hearted!
UTAU horror story: You record a whole VCV in OREMO, only to realize that you're using the wrong reclist
Family members opened and listened to all your VB's samples when you're outside
Worst story of all : a story of a world where my utauloid exists wait.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
I said this somewhere before I'm sure but Otoing a whole chunk of a voicebank and accidentally closing out using 'x' instead of 'ok'
Trying to highlight boxes you want to paste in while using setparam and not carefully watching your mouse.
I had this experience the other day.
I was trying to paste certain numbers in overlap, preutterance, and consonant, for a large portion of the oto. I didn't realize until I pasted it that I also managed to highlight the cutoff and alias and comment box of every configuration ABOVE what I was trying to. And I couldn't undo it. So I had to just start over.

Why you gotta call me out like this

Testing out a ust but accidentally high lighting and playing the long rest before the notes start
I totally agree. I wish all USTs had 1/4 rest notes or something smaller but I know it's sorta tedious to do.
fortunately scary things happen to me in utau all the time
sorry if this picture is too big to not be a spoiler but the world must see this because it was damn funny
If you delete that crazy tempo and set it properly in the tempo box that should go away.
oh, i know, this was like three months ago XD
i can't help but save all the weird stuff i do by accident, it's just hilarious to me tbh
Oh, alrighty! Good!
It took me ages to figure out how to fix that, so once I discovered how, I stored that deep in my head, aha.
Some real horror...
You've recorded several pitches of your bank... All sounds well and all goes well during the otoing process... You were so confident that this library would be your magnum opus, that you forgot to plug in your external. You Ctrl+s in setparam, set to do the rest of your otoing first thing in the morning...
- The next day -
Just your luck that the day after, there's a particularly bad thunder storm, but it's no big deal. You've used electronics during bad weather and your electronics survived. Too bad Murphy's Law had it out for you, cause the power goes out in your block. You call the electric company... You wait it out. You read that book that's been gathering dust on your nightstand. You put the handheld console to good use. It's only a matter of time before that wonderful electricity is back up and running!
- 5 hours later -
Huzzah! You hear the familiar blips, beeps, and boops of electronics being turned back on! You can finally get back to wor-
"WHY WON'T YOU TURN ON?! Okay, okay... google, google... Unplug, hold power..." You're trying your best to not hyperventilate.
You follow the advice you can find on the internet, trying to do everything to bring your only vocalsynth lifeline to life. You don't have multiple machines lying around where you can swap hard drives and going to the Geek Squad is out of the question. You're cursing your luck that the bank wasn't saved to your external. It's in your panicked prodding and with a darting of eyes that you notice a thin trail of smoke... That trail goes down to the extension cord that kept your machine powered. That old and yellowed extension cord that you've had for God knows how long looks like it's melting right at the point of contact between your machine's cord and the outlet. You can only break into mildly deranged laughter... You had been using that old thing for so long that it never crossed your mind that it would - could - fail. Alas... your machine - and therefore your bank - was lost to a burst of electric current...

Thank god that's only fiction. You had me cringing because my laptop has a bad battery and automatically, and without warning, shuts itself off with a "tink". So I have to keep it plugged in while I use it.
I try to make backups of my banks when I feel I've made significant progress on them.
tl;dr I'd die if that happened to me
