Recording English VCV
Sorry for the late reply but honestly, the tuning in general but I'm a noob so... Like, you have to make sure EVERYTHING sounds good and not flat/robotic/muffled and recording any voicebank, it gives me SO much stress to try and make sure it all turns out the same pitch, same tone, pronunciation...
The struggle is real for a noob.
Luckily those are things you grow out of once you get more practice and develop your skills ^=^(also there's no need to feel such stress trying to make things sound perfect, it just takes time
Also, when an frq file gets corrupted, making everything sound normal until the voice starts going screamo on you.
I use MIDIs a lot in UTAU. This happens most of the time.
- Doing your tuning in the Zteer pitchbending plugin only to accidentally click the cancel button
- Not saving your ust progress and accidentally clicking no on the confirmation window
- All pitchbends in the linear curve and you have to retune everything
Last but not the least...
Spoiler: *drum rolling*
UTAU in 2024
Making a UST for a song you like, but you realize....
That song doesn't have an off vocal.
;_; That's why I always check first.
VCV Consonant velocity
It's just so hard to find the perfect one for some syllables, especially beginning syllable and vowel-vowel.
Making inst. UTAU from haunted instruments...
Recording a english vcv and then relising you don’t need 1,000+ notes T.T
my most recent one has to be: you've just tuned a long, complicated section in the pitchedit plugin perfectly, but when you hit confirm...
RANGE CHECK ERROR.
