I've been studying Japanese for 16 years, and have a degree in it as well, so for original work translations, I will charge for them. But not that much! XD (around $5) It really depends on how detailed you want it.
I'm currently doing Japanese to English commissions for someone who wanted me to transliterate all DBGT songs for English covers.
