UTAU a week

Note: This isn't a request thread, I just choose UTAUs sorta randomly. ^_^

Anyway, I really want to improve my art. And a lot of people say that you should practice a lot, right? So what I decided to do was set a goal for myself: to draw (at least) one UTAU a week. And with that, here are the week 1 drawings (did two for this week) and their respective copy-pasta from DeviantArt.

UTAU a week #1 a - Saki

I gave myself a challenge: draw at least one UTAU a week. Hopefully in a few weeks I will have improved my art! Last week was week one, in which I drew Fawksey's UTAU Saki. I actually managed to finish a second UTAU last week as well, so I'll upload that one too in a second.

UTAU a week #1 b - Cherry

This was also completed in week one, it's BottledWottle's UTAU Cherry.

I tried a different color outline and stuck to the main theme of red, trying to balance that in with the other colors. The arms look kind of awkward, that's something I'll have to get used to doing. I want to try some new poses, all of my art is always simple and from the front. Maybe I'll switch it up in week 2.

I just hope I got her colors right. orz

I think my art is stuck in a limbo of sorts, that thin line between Chibi and regular. XD I mean, they're a bit short to be full fledged regulars, but too tallish to be 100% Chibi.

Aaaand, I wound up getting week two's drawing done way too early. XD All in one day.

UTAU a week #2 - Ayaka Sanshoku

Well, managed to do this all in one day! That was fast. ._. Well, since it's only monday, there will probably be a \"2b...\"

Played with the saturation and hue for each of the colors to give it a faded look.

Because its hard to not like her design. XD She's so cuttteee I had to draw her. :I ...I forgot her bucket though. See how the hand curves? Ahaha.

Alright, next time I'm not going to draw a straight-on from the front view. I'm going to do some 3/4 view, woo.
