UTAU won't install (2894)

hi! i'm a newbie to utau, and i just tried installing it for the first time but i keep getting the same error, no matter what version i try to install.

does anyone know what went wrong? i already set my system locale and everything.
i've tried the 2 latest versions.

Did you have your locale set to japanese?

Did you download the installer before or after changing?

This might be a problem if you had installed UTAU before and just deleted the folder without clicking uninstall...? I cant translate the message to help further ;A;

Follow everyone's advice and Uninstall utau, delete and redownload the installer, and try again.

That solution is for a Quicktime installer but they are all the same anyways.
Sometimes Windows likes to eat sand.

nope, i've never had it installed before so i dont think that can be the issue orz

I've uploaded my copy of UTAU to MEGA (without all the extra, unnecessary crap I had in that folder) so you can try extracting and running that instead of running the installer. If that doesn't work then I honestly don't know what will.
