That's only if you're recording 5 mora strung, and tbh, it's not necessary. You can easily make a cvvc bank with 2 mora and not have n_ka, n_hye, etc.

I should elaborate.
ka -> kak
re -> rer
for "n", you can record "nk"

This is stop consonant style.

You can also record it as "kaka" or "soso" to record it and record samples like "n sa" to get the "ns" sound.
Which is more bridge style.

For Japanese, both work the same.

That tutorial is more for bridge CVVC- So the CV section is a bit strange.

For people new to OTOing VC samples, I suggest an overlap of 65-75 and a preutterence of 85 - 95(minimum of 20ms higher than the overlap), then simply line the preutterence up with the end of the vowel.
This gives more space for the crossfade when using the voicebank.

Of course this is a somewhat loose rule, you can play around a little.
