Hello! *waves frantically*

I'm curious on which producers or tuner(s)? you like listening to.

Mine at the moment is kyaami/cillia, since she has very seamless tuning on her UTAUs and Vocaloid covers.

Some of them almost sound very real (if I didn't know they were UTAUs or something, I would mistake it for an autotuned person)

But what I like the most about hers is that she keeps that robotic, synthetic feel to the song while still having such a well-done cover.

Here are some examples:

(I think it's predictable that I'd be showing her Renri cover)
I'd love to read your responses, and I'll definitely listen to your favorite!

My favorite tuner is kimchi-tan here on the forums. I think she tunes UTAU better than Cilia.

My fave producer is GigaP. I love his songs, the lyrics, the tuning, everything. And Giga is cute, have a sassy voice and got a cool hairstyle :P

My eternal favorite, my longtime senpai, my foundational inspiration, the vocaloid producer AdyS. I've been following his work since even before he joined Vocallective. I've bought every album and EP he's come out with as soon as they came out. I would literally not be where I am today without AdyS.

Here's the last two album crossfades, though there's more.

I really like how the voice is extremely robotic, and yet I could understand the words in Cyber Diva~
SONiKA's voice is adorably done here, just the thing though I couldn't understand much... *grabs lyrics and starts reading*:sing:

My favourite producer is neru because of the genre and meaning behind his songs.

Oh GIRRRRL those are two of my favorite songs! I really like neru's songs too, since they're so deep and meaningful and touch certain stuff that I could relate to!

My favorite UTAU producer is ChieP since her Miko originals tend to focus on Miko's sakura and/or wolf them plus they're really catchy  too bad she stopped making UTAU originals though

Another favorite producer is Police Piccadilly without a doubt. Their Renri and ONE originals are so goooooooood and well tuned <3

My favorite UTAU and Vocaloid tuner is minome my best binch lel. Would you believe me if I said that she only started making covers just around half a year ago?? Me neither.

Lately I've been really into SEDO Sounder's stuff...

I really enjoy the style of instrumentation, and also the use of Mayu. I love Mayu...

Also I kinda like the take on yandere and depression in the lyrics of their songs...it's a very deprecative style.

*heavy breathing* MAYU's voice suits these songs so well~ I

love how her gentle voice makes it so quiet, sad yet comforting (and a bit Alice-in-Wonderland-like in my opinion) to listen to <3

I really like @Blackbird

And Umetora

I don't have a favorite tuner
It sounds like everyone is starting to tune the same way now T 7 T

Wooow, i'm impressed with Ghost's! The English is so well done we would still be able to understand most parts without the lyrics written down :O

Really? Everyone seems to tune the same way now? In what way? I'm curious :?

One of my favorite producers who isn't blatantly obvious is Stormzex. He's a Korean producer and I started following him for his on point Luka usage:

And ended up staying for his on point vFlower(who I am 99% sure is his favorite vocaloid given his tweets) usage:

He also does various covers and remixes. I don't really have any favorite tuners though; mostly because when it comes to tuning it all depends on the song for me and I don't really have a set style I prefer over another(like hyper realistic tuning vs more simplistic tuning).

Nakano4 (he's most know for Teto's "Sky High" I think)
He tunes Sekka Yufu, Defoko and Teto so well in my opinion + good UTAU original song writer.

And then ATOLS... his songs are just... great

YusukeKira - He's Vocaloid tuning and mixing are so A+++ IMO

...and a great tuner that hasn't mentioned yet? rageyn

He's used VFlower so well! I'll probably listen to his stuff more often now that I know him~ I never knew she had a Korean voicebank though (btw she and Fukase are my favorite not-as-popular-as-Miku vocaloids)

lol That's just it though...she doesn't have a Korean bank. But he's really good at using Japanese vocaloids that way -nod-

Somewhat sound wise and appearance wise

Mainly the same pitch bends
"Everyone uses the same pitch bends!"
Yea but I've noticed that people are looking up to others and copying their tuning style rather than try to make their own, if that makes sense.
Like a lot of people, it seems, are using the main, dramatic connecting drop pitchbend, I use it too honestly, but again, people are copying other tuners that they see as amazing, and putting that specific pitch bend on almost every note.
That could also sound nice, but not on every note, I've seen well known tuners do that and honestly, it sometimes make the utau that they are using, sound really jumpy, and not very good in my opinion.
It's a little hard to understand which pitchbend I'm talking about, so I'll link a picture when I get on my pc.
