I'm just curious with how the community takes the awesome program.

I just take it as a hobby. I don't get money out of it or anything ^-^

How about you?

Nobody has, or can, make a career out of UTAU.
I was curious.
Thought the same thing as well.

I'm so devoted, I am an UTAU.

But yeah, you can't make a full-time career out of UTAU but it doesn't mean that there isn't someone who's tried... I'd like to say it's a hobby, but I've dropped a few hundred coins or so and spent all of my free time doing it...

I consider spending money on it as 'very seriously' :O
I salute you

If that's the case, then I guess the money I've spent on music things in general makes me serious, since I do use UTAU in some of my originals.

Yea, this poll would count that as serious.

Much like drawing, I use UTAU as a simple hobby. Though I do occasionally use it for determining singing ranges and means of "communicating" with my UTAU.

I like it as a hobby, it's definitely not something I'm going to drop any plans for to work on. But it's very fun and interesting to work with. With that being said, any hobby can have time, money and effort spent into it. So I think some people mistake effort for "hard core devotion".

Despite me having nothing to show for my ambitions yet, I actually am fairly serious about UTAU because I got my start in the community and have received a lot of support for my main dream career that I intend to show off UTAU with when I can.
I even have full permissions for about 20 UTAU including Ruko Yokune, so while I'm not seriously investing or hoping to be the next major creator with it, I am aiming to get more people into UTAU and hopefully draw in some more supporters while also getting the hard-working creators and their UTAU the attention they deserve so... yeah.
Trust me, I will aid Ruko in world domination and earn my hug... SOON.

What do you mean by "full permission?" :/
And you already got a hug from me, @SOHBlue

By that I mean the creators allowed me to work as I wish with their UTAU in the projects I proposed, also allowing commercial use. With the usual conditions of nothing religious, slandering or racist or homophobic of course.

See, my original intention was to use UTAU voices to voice my manga characters, which I still could do as I greatly enjoy talkoids, but this year was supposed to be spent improving and practicing like no tomorrow so I could be at my best. (Which to me was Kowareta's level. )

Even so, this year has no doubt been one of the hardest I've had to endure so I've had to put it off and have been so caught up in trying to recover that even now it's hard to get started and I don't have much confidence either.
Even so, I know that I for sure am going to work with them on my YouTube channel and at least have them sing character songs and be in a school skit I promised if I don't go along with my original plan.

Basically I feel like I owe it to all my wonderful and friendly fellow comrades to do my best and take the leap even though I'm not sure of myself. To be honest this community is one of the few things keeping me going so... yeah.

Sappy speech over.
