I know I been asking for a lot of help just I'm such a noob at things T-T I'm multitasking multiple things base on Utau VCV bank and stuff :c

But I'm trying to make a ust but I'm not good at all on making them T-T I'm starting to make one for the first time using the demo of FL but I just can't get the pitches right  I wish someone can show me XD or just help me out... there's no off vocal so I'm gonna have to try and make it

Hi, @miyu!
I personally don't know how to make a UST that fits a song, but I've read that making a MIDI file then putting it in UTAU is how people do it(?)

Well anyway, I've looked for websites for you, here's what I got:
http://rainereizo.blogspot.ae/2012/07/tutorial-how-to-make-ust.html

And also, there seems to be a thread about it already here (found out while searching for websites to help you out):
http://utaforum.net/threads/how-to-make-a-good-ust.8567/

I hope that I helped in my little way... ^-^

If you can't get the pitches right I'd recommend humming the note and trying the notes on the piano-roll to match them up

If you can't hum it I would select a small portion of the song (a note or two) and put it on repeat. While doing that try to match up the notes

Thing is though I think that method would work best for people who know music very well (or at least aren't tone deaf).

If I can't find an accurate MIDI or sheet music to reference, I plop the song into FL Studio and create my own MIDI track of the vocals and harmonies. I've got a good ear for transcription, but a lot of it is just trial and error -- playing the MIDI over and over against the original song until it sounds correct. When I've finished it, I export the MIDI and import it into UTAU. Sometimes it required minor edits, but it generally works well. Of course, you have to go through and add tuning and lyrics, but that goes without saying.
