Tone Rion V4 and Dear Stage Project revival !

Hello guys ! As some of you may know yet, it was revealed out of the blue, something that no one would have expected safe from a few fans : Tone Rion's coming back !

(She coems with a new design. In the beginning I was scared and puzzled like a part of the fandom, though now I've taken a close-up to it, I'm feeling more at ease with it though i'll likely use her V3 design alongside this one. )

And she isn't alone, as the Dear Stage Vocaloid project is relaunched and one of the new members is unveiled !

Her name is Nemu Yumemi and she is based off the real Nemu Yumemi herself. So far, she's the only one of the two to get a demo you can hear below :


Who is the real Nemu Yumemi ? She is simply the geek of the band Dempagumi Inc as well as the artist and a DJ under the name DJ Nemukyun She also models for magazines. Her singing can be heard here :


It is said Nemu and Rion will be able to XSY between them (however, nothing was said about V3 x V4 Tone rion ._."' ) and as for her upgrade, Rion is confirmed obtaining the growl function. They will both release on the 16th of February ! Both will be sold at 8,000 yens for DL and 10,000 yens for package. A starter pack is also featured with Nemu's voicebank containig her Vb, the V4 editor and a special DVD tutorial by her VA. Tone rion can be upgraded from V3 to V4 by everyone owning her V3 for 4,000 yens.

Tone Rion update was very unexpected surprise TBH. I hope that she'll sound great in V4 too.

I think that people have very mixed/different feeling about her new design. TBH, many people who likes Rion on Twitter has been very shocked/very surprised for her complete re-design cuz it looks NOTHING like previous one. Looks like a completely different person, not even same colors used. Even her HAIR and EYES are completely different colors!!!

V4 design itself is not bad (better than Nemu's in my opinion) but I wished that they could have keep her colors same at least, so she would look more like "Rion" (I didn't even recognise her first when I first time saw her V4 design, I didn't know that it was really she until I looked up).

Someone on Twitter was worried if they gonna also change character's setting completely. In her V3, she was an moe idol from future. V4 looks nothing like that, tho... More like a cute casual girl pillow fighting with Nemu IMO. I affair that this gonna very likely happened her like they said.

I GUESS the reason that WHY they made such a big design change was because to mach her with Nemu's design cuz Nemu will be able to XSY with Rion's V4.

I guess they wanted to make it obvious, kinda like the -poid and assimilate series at Internet co =s

But I guess if her and Rion are selling well this time, they may create the reamining members' loids after Nemu
