The plugin that converts CV USTs to VCV USTs won't work.

Normally this plugin works just fine but sometimes it won't convert the UST from CV to VCV, any tips?

Are you trying to use a multipitch voicebank with the ust when the plugin won't work? I'm not sure if you're using the same plugin as I use, but I've found that the one I use will only work with monopitch banks.

If you're currently using a standalone conversion plugin, you may want to switch to Bizz's Iroiro plugin (which combines many useful functions into one).

I can't remember exactly which plugin it is but it works just fine with multi-pitch banks.

I'm pretty sure that plugin won't work with some voicebanks because of the way the oto's configured. Some multipitch voicebanks have suffixes on every pitch, so when it goes to convert notes, it can't find a VCV alias in the oto (ex. らC4 and な; the plugin can't convert the な to "a な" because nothing in the oto starts with C4. It looks for the last character of the alias and will add it to the prefix of the next note, if that makes sense). I think that's the case with Renri's voicebank, and she's not the only one with this kind of configuration.

If that's what's causing the issue, the best solution is to convert the UST with a monopitch VCV voicebank (which will almost always have no suffixes) and then switch back to whichever voicebank you planned to use. Hopefully that'll work? Sorry if I misunderstood the problem ^^;

Normally when mine doesnt work, its because it cant find the appropriate Hiragana for the romaji
like for "wo" i think the default does うぉ　or を if you dont have teh default it wont translate it

same for Hiragana to romaji
if anything is capitalized its not going to do it like at all.

ie Ka verses ka

Then again is is a fickle plug in and you have to yell at it from time to time.
