I like the color palette, but I'm gonna be a bit blunt for a bit...
I'm kind of tired of the Crypton aesthetic.
By that, I mean.. Crypton had this thing going on where all the 'loids had a headset and a trim to their clothes. That kind of aesthetic is popularized in a lot of UTAU now thanks to the initial Crypton craze, like with Teto Kasane, Aiko Kikyuune, etc.
A lot of the fandom, myself included, are getting a little tired of that aesthetic. It's the popular thing to do because "hey, that's obviously an UTAU or Vocaloid" right? But it can get stale after a while. There are only so many accent colors you can use before your design starts to blend with the crowd.
If it helps, I personally prefer designs that boast what I'd think the character's voice type is. For example, Yozane Iimo's voice is powerful and mature, so how does her character design represent that?
Her color palettes is very saturated to go with the power her voice carries; her body type shows the maturity of her voice; the outfit choices, like a corset, the coat, etc. show more about the character information than the voice, but still helps by defining the character!
UTAU designs should (unless you're pulling an
Iroha) be showing a character you'd think the voice should hold. When you design to that idea, your characters have so much more vibrancy and immersion to them.
When you do the Crypton aesthetic, imo, the character designs only tell me "robot voice" and nothing else.
That said, of course you could still have a Crypton aesthetic UTAU and still have it kick ass. I mean, Aiko and Teto have taught us that much. It's just a lot harder to get noticed when your design blends with the crowd.
Anyway TL;DR i didn't mean to ramble this long i'm just not a fan of crypton aesthetics but i like the actual physical character & color palette just not so much the clothes so far. lightning elements would be pretty cool if you do something different with it.
