What's the best site for sharing music?

Hi,

What's the best music sharing site that you would recommend for UTAU stuff?

• I've tried SoundCloud - full of bots and spam, and you're also limited on the amount of uploads if you have a free account
• I've tried Audiomack - the userbase is not big enough and the tagging system is lacking, and you also cannot report spam accounts

I can't find any general discussion forums to post this in, so this is the closest
I mean, I'm happy to stick with SoundCloud, but if there's something better, then cool

What do you suggest?

I Honestly beleive youtube. keep in mind I'm someone new to the software but a long time fan of the software. I feel like with youtube speifically theirs this pressure to do videos or add something extra to the song but as a musician on my own time it's where you'll find your most loyal fan base. That being said it's way easier to get popular via soundcloud. In MY expeirence with NONUTAU music. Youtube is the commons mans site. Most people use it over other platforms and you can link them back to your bancamp or spotfiy or whatever.

Of all the sites I could think of, I somehow didn't think of YouTube
Maybe because it's mainly a video sharing site and you don't immediately associate it with music until you remember that there are music videos on the platform
A lot of users do use YouTube for distributing music, and as you say they can link it back to their Bandcamp or SoundCloud as well

Thank you for your suggestion! I'll still use SoundCloud since it's also a popular choice among UTAU users (despite the stupid influx of spam accounts) but I will indeed consider YouTube as well!

I think among utau users it would be either Soundcloud or Youtube. I know some people use clyp but I don't know enough about it to properly recommend it, although you may want to check it out if you're looking for soundcloud alternatives
