OOOH I LOVE THIS STORY
Okay! Storytime with Jay!

I've LOVED the song "Vertigo" by U2 since I was a kid. It was like my jam dude. So that word was very established in my mind since I was like five.

Then about five years ago, in sixth grade, my mother actually had an episode of vertigo. (For those that don't know, its an inner ear disease, nothing too too serious though.) I called every unfortunate event from then a "vertigo episode" with the date after it. My mom's vertigo attack was called vertigo 0421. Some of my IRL friends started to call me vertigo as a joke then.

Then I got into Vocaloid and UTAU stuff in like seventh grade ish? Dunno. Point is that originally I went by another name until about 8th grade, when I had my own vertigo episode. Some of my friends were joking around saying "vertigo got vertigo!" so it stuck and I made it my alias ever since!

Oh, also part of the reason is that vertigo is kinda similar to my last name. (For those of you who know, please don't say it, as it's very unique and I don't need it on a public forum.) Usually on websites I put my full name as Jay Vertigo.

I have 3 names I go by on the internet (I have used others to remain anonymous, such as on fanfiction.net lololol)

My present username is a variation of BUCK-SMASHER, a name I use often on games in several different stylizations.

Ironchamp, my old producer name, was originally a name I made for games as well. There was a particular game where enemies called Iron Champions terrorized the noob areas. "Iron Champion" was too long, so I shortned it. I sometimes use it on websites now.

TrankuilLion (my production name now) was birthed after I discovered Ironchamp was taken by a bodybuilding supplement company (i totally thought of it first though). There is no particular reasoning behind this name, its just Tranquil Lion basically (You could also think of it as Trankuillion, like a number like billion or trillion or something. I dont have a set value for it yet.)

I mentioned all three incase I change my user name to one of them in the future.

Zarsla is my penname on the internet. It wasn't my first one, it's my second however my first I disliked it and only used it on two sites, deviantart & a percy jackson fanfic site. Now however I'm Zarsla, the name is based on my real name litterally, I altered and moved the letters in my name and got Zarsla. (Zarsla & my real name have the sane exact number of letters).(Maybe you can guess it? my real name I mean.)

My username steams from me being able to do the REALLY old Japanese villian laugh (kukukukuku). Its also because when I first made characters, all of their nicknames were Kuku. The "klock" Is a play on the clock. My friends always called me a little Coocoo and then one of them just said. "You should change your name to Kuku Klock online"....and I did because it stuck.

I think I was just bored of my last username, aquaticdesert. I'm glad I've distanced myself from that name as I wasn't really the best person around the time when I used it.

Hmm... I used to go by KHMaster101 when I was really addicted to the game (I didn't even completely finish any of them lol) and since my friend took KeybladeMaster101 on KH13, I went with KHMaster101 instead.

My current username VocAddict came from my titile "Addict of the Vocalods". It came about after I got really obsessed with Vocaloid (I only listened to Vocaloid songs and I still do lol) and I kinda abandoned KH and jumped over. It's been with me ever since. I have a derevitative of this user name called vocakill but I don't use it much.

Maybe it's time I revisit this thread? Since I've gone through a few more names.

Ecchi - There was already someone named Hentai here, and after having sexual relations I thought this was funny and fitting.
Cabbage - I like the taste of cabbage and kimchi
Coasty - Derived from my tumblr URL, rollycoasty, which is an old inside joke of the early 2014 OFF roleplay community. I don't think anyone remembers it anymore, but it's nice to keep the memory.
tomotu - The name was actually trademark symbol and the squared symbol, so it could have also been pronounced as "trademark squared". The esperanto pronunciation of TM2 would have been to mo du (which sounded a hell of a lot more appealing than tee em two) but some friends told me that tomotu sounded cooler.
Kiyoteru - I love kiyoteru so much.
kva - One of my senpais turned out to be unhappy with me going by Kiyoteru's name, so I pressed F to pay respects and switched to this. It's derived from "kvar" and "kvadrato", four and square in esperanto respectively. The actual writing was a unicode square, meant to be a joke that tricks people into thinking their computer is displaying broken text. I changed my icons to a plain square, and that was a second dose of depressing on top of having an unhappy senpai. So I dropped it within a few hours.

KLAD - Initials of my full internet name
Kiyoteru - Yeah, I'm still Kiyoteru, just secretly, shh~! Don't tell anyone what the K really stands for. Maybe I could say it's "Kathy" or something.
Lofe - Christmas 2013. I wanted to bring bread to the school gift exchange as a joke, but I ended up receiving it myself. This derivative of "loaf" became my skype display name and many people began to actually call me by it.
Adlez - Zelda backwards. It takes a while for people to realize this, actually. I've loved Zelda games since I was a kid and they're part of why I got on the internet in the first place.
27 - A favorite number of mine.
Dystopia - Dystopian stories are one of my favorite types of fiction. The name "DystoP" made an excellent pun, and I'm planning to eventually write some songs featuring IA.

My hobby is collecting funny acronyms for KLAD. (Kick Lofe's Ass, Dandy; Kill Less Arsloids Daily; etc)

My recent namechange is based off of a nickname my parents gave me - Kingkurt (my parents used to be fans of Kurt Cobain) + my previous (****ing long) username, AOi-chan no Seiyuu (i started off as an UTAU voicer wannabe so), thus Blue King Kurt.

kamonohashi (カモノハシ) means "platypus" in Japanese. I was just looking for a somewhat long username and stumbled upon it and now it's most of my usernames.

That was my most recent name change.

Having a one-syllable first and last name is boring, so I expanded Kim into "kimchi" and Tan was already a moe Japanese honorific of endearment. Alternatively "-chi" is another cutesy honorific for friends, so you can also call me "Kim-chi" ;D
