What are languages which you would like to hear more used in UTAU?

I personally would love to hear more covers/originals/new voicebanks to Korean, Spanish, Italian and Finnish.

EDIT: Almost forgot to add: Russian and German too! Specially Russian! :'D

It would be also fun to hear an Estonian UTAU some day! (I hope that someone would make one in future) and I want also a Swedish voicebank very badly (I know only an old Swedish VB demo but that VB is private and IDK other Swedish VBs).

And you? Leave a comment

Occitan, French, Spanish, Italian, vietnamese (recently i was linked one), and euuuuuh... Well, German and Portuguese are also used though they're still behind English and Japanese...

Also maybe some Greek and Latin maybe ? (both Ancient & Modern Greek, and then Classical and ecclesiatic Latin) But again it'll depend of the song and for greek,

I have never hear Greek or Latin, those would be cool! 8D Vietnamese is cool too.

//Occitan?! First time hearing, where's that language is used?

Occitan is a Romance/Latin language. Spoken roughly in the area of southern France and northern Spain, I think?

And I don't know about Greek songs, but e.g. PianoBench made some Latin originals in the past.

This one for example:

As Shibaru said, I too would like to hear more decent Malay UTAU covers. tbh some of the ones of yt are offtune and
I found this Chinese guy and his cover of Let It Go in Malay and it is cool, I should say albeit being accented, but it's a testloid so:

(PS: I linked AuraAutumnus' Malay-Indonesian reclist in one of my status. Yeah, minor bugs here and there but overall it helps!)

EDIT: Thai (Check out PRINTmov Studio!), Esperanto, Ainu (are there any pop songs to cover tho?), Okinawan, my native language plz (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kadazan_Dusun_language), Russian, Vietnamese, Hindi and Tamil

For Russian I know one VB which is voiced by Japanese(?), I found this from NND (IDK if had good pronunciation or not but I link it to anyway.)

I really like to hear a Malay UTAU. Recently, I found a CV-VC Malay Reclist and I am eager to test it out! :sing:
If you gonna record Malay VB, I would listen it! 8D

I totally understand your feeling! For some languages is literally almost impossible to found any decent voicebank at all!

(For this reason I have personally worked a lot to improve Finnish voicebank's level (I have made so far decent CV+ rclist and currently working on new CVVC and VCV lite). Ugh, OLD Finnish CV reclist (which is from year 2011? and was made before I started myself UTAU) did not have any important ending consonants or CC sounds at all! x_x )

Yes, sometimes you can't even find a voicebank of a different language most probably because the language isn't popular, thus pushing it to the dark corners of the community. (Also, good luck on improving your Finnish voicebank! Yes, reclists are hard to improve, but they do somehow find their way in the end now don't they XD)
