LEORA | New French Alter/Ego

Hey guys! Voxwave has announced a new Alter/Ego named LEORA - who will be voiced by TBK (The Baka Kitsune), who is the Logistics Manager at Voxwave! Although there hasn't been a voice sample released, Voxwave released the design of this new beauty!!

Kitsune has a pretty strong voice- so I cannot wait to see how this one turns out!!!!

Not really impressed that it's another female french youtaite. This is turning out like the chinese vocaloids, they need to diversify the vocal types...

Honestly, she kinda strikes me as Alys' polar opposite.
Like Alys is mostly composed of cool colors and is mostly for pop and stuff like that.
Leora is composed of warm.hot and looks to be suited for rock and stuff like that.

Love the design aaaaa but another female vocal eh it's getting kind of old as adlez said they need to diversify maybe a male vocal or a soft voice?? Theres too many females in vocalsynth imo

I agree to that- There is only one planned male vocal o far that i know of for A/E right now- which is really upsetting since its rumored there is like 12 in development.

IDK anything about voicer but hopefully she'll not sound too similar to ALYS (plus easier to use/sound descent for A/E).

I love her design tho

O! I was wondering when a thread would be made here. I was kinda surprised threads weren't made earlier, she was apparently first revealed last month on the 23rd. It was only on the french site though, so I understand. Anyways, back on topic, I don't really know about her. I'm putting my guard up because with ALYS I loved her and supported her only to be left disappointed with the end product. VoxWave also has a very spotty reputation with these things which makes me worry a bit more. She is obviously very lovely and looks great next to ALYS with them being a black/blue red/white duo, and I like TBK's voice. It's just all of the circumstances and A/E voices in general haven't impressed me that much, except for Bones. I really hope VoxWave turns around and makes her a great product though.

Yea I am hoping for clearer French because ALYS's French is super difficult to understand. I'm hoping Leora will have a nice, clear, and powerful voice to contradict ALYS's nice but nasally, airy, and soft voice. I have decently high hopes for Leora- and I hope that they are entering her in the concert in Paris coming up.

I'm disapointed. She has a really weird accent even though the VP is from Paris. However she sounds a little bit clearer than Alys (maybe because her voice is stronger.)
I hope her english bank will sounds better.

I plugged her on the midi i used for the official release of "Oxygène", the voicebank still is an early beta so i didn't expect a lot but it's not //bad// IMO (I use the power VB for the chorus and the core for the rest) Her power VB is a mess right now tho
