laptop: PaleMoon; UC Browser on rare occasion (I don't particularly like Chrome based browsers in terms of performance; sites that load in a couple seconds on PaleMoon or a Firefox derivative take at least 30 seconds or a minute+ in a browser built upon Blink's engine for me - inb4 everyone points to articles that all say the same thing about turning off all your add-ons: if I wanted a bare bones browsing experience, I would use MS Edge or a browser app from the Store)
Android: Chrome (mobile is the only place it doesn't feel like molasses) or the generic browser it comes with.

Vivaldi because it's fairly light on memory when compared to Chrome's disgusting RAM usage. Sometimes Waterfox. I also like to use Edge as a PDF viewer.
When I'm on my phone I use the default BlackBerry OS 7.1 browser because every other browser available on BlackBerry App World is an abomination.

Chrome all the way but unfortunately it's a bit buggy sometimes such as not minimizing when going to another app and not opening sometimes.
I sometimes use Firefox mostly for my other SoundCloud account and should Chrome fail for me.

For iPad, Safari. For my phone, Chrome too.

Chrome on all my windows devices. Firefox on my Xubuntu installation on my laptop. Firefox on my phone, just for ad blocking + youtube in background.

I now use Waterfox almost exclusively, but sometimes I use other browsers to check that whatever I'm working on in HTML looks right in other browsers.

I use Google Chrome on my laptop, but I've tried Firefox and Vivaldi. I was going to use Firefox but it doesn't run Flash or HTML5 and crashes when I load YouTube, and Vivaldi is too laggy for me (but I do like it). I also have DuckDuckGo as my search engine and uBlock Origin installed. For mobile, I use Firefox (ironically) and for quick searches I use DuckDuckGo.

The flash thing is because it has to be enabled in the addons section, it's disabled by default for security reasons. The other issues are fixable, but you'd have to Google the answer to those questions, 'coz I dunno how to fix those. It's weird that you experienced that, I've never had that happen before.
(There's also a slight chance it might be a slow computer issue, in which case I'd suggest Pale Moon (or anything else really) over Firefox)
