Selecting Notes without Rests?

I'm trying to highlight all the notes in a UST so I can change them to the same phoneme, but I want to do that without selecting the Rests with everything. Need the Rests to stay as is, y'know? Is there a way I can do this?

You can try Ctrl + W but it still includes all the rests in between the notes.

Since you're changing all notes into the same lyric, is there a problem without having to select only the notes? Are all the rests in a lower-case R making inserting lyrics replace the rests' lyric too? If that's the case, open the UST in Notepad, go to Edit --> Replace, put "Lyric=r" for the first field and "Lyric=R" for the second field, click on "Replace All" then save the file. Rests won't have their lyric changed anymore through inserting lyrics.

No, actually all the rests are uppercase R. If I do ctrl+A or Edit>Select All Notes (which now that I look, is your ctrl+W), the rests still get selected.

So what seems to be the problem that you have to select only the notes and not the rests?

I'm assuming OP is trying to use an instrument utau, and that requires all notes put into one kind of note, such as あ.
You don't need to select only the notes if that's the case. Using the Substitute lyric button with all notes selected including rests only renames the notes. Rests are left untouched.
