i've lost my reg key for UTAU shareware.

one day, I got a really bad malware that cause my computer to die, after reinstalling, I've been trying to get my reg key back, but I can't. I can't contact ameya because she doesn't use her email or twitter anymore, and I can't speak Japanese. can you guys help me?

Check the email you used to get your key. If you used vector.co.jp to get your reg key, then the link to it will be available through there.

Were you using outlook via subscription/microsoft office suite, a specific service tied to an ISP that you're no longer subscribed to (like verizon.net or something), or did you just forget your password? Has the email service shut down as a company? Did your account get hacked? Sorry for all the questions, but emails don't just become unavailable without reason. Malware infecting the local machine should have no effect on an email provider's servers.

I've forgot my password, I'm not gonna bother retrieving it, because G-mail only asks for the password you have. which is pretty ****ing dumb.

Do you have a smartphone? You may be able to get to your account through there or at least find a way to reset it?

We can't just give you a key. For all we know you could be making it up.
You should of backed up your txt file with the key.

Idk, m8... If you won't go through the steps to sign back in to your email, or sign into vector.co.jp (or whichever site you got the key from), then there's no way you can retrieve your key.

UTAU is generally functional regardless (if a little less pleasing to the eye), so if you really want to use UTAU, there's nothing stopping you - key or no key. I understand if it's inconvenient if you're a vcv bank user/owner, but there's plugins for that.

When you used an email for a transaction, you shouldn't forget the password (o_o")
Do you have recovery acc. for your prev. email?
Google isn't dumb for asking your password for account recovery, it'll check how similar it is to assure it's actually "you"
Try remembering it, if you're lucky google will send a password reset code to your recovery acc.

ok, I understand, please don't see me as a bad person, I would never steal anything from anyone, I have never done anything damaging to this fandom or synthesis fandom in general. please trust me, I don't want to be seen as a failure or a bad person, I want to create, help, and make friends. I've been in this fandom for 2 years now, and I just started using utaforums.

Ugh just use the free version theres not much difference dude. Like you've already bought it so you've supported it no need to feel guilty or whtevs.
but we cannot help you with obtaining a key sorry but unless you have access to that email you will have to purchase another code. Sorry but thems the brakes

If i remember correctly there are a lot of people on google who have shared their reg-key. Its not really that different from the free version though.

But, Sorry I Cannot Give You Any Advice On The Key Except That If You Get Another One, Back It Up On A Usb And DO NOT USE THE USB FOR ANYTHING ELSE So, You Don't Get Any Malicious Files On The Usb That Could Infect The Key
